The dreaded 0-5-5 is back and working - see my game with QPR today. I did have 2 defenders sent off but they were kicking ass before that.

I'm playing them in the PL on Sunday and I'll be pissed off if he uses it again and it works.

I'll check it though, would've expected better from him, really. Maybe he was just testing it? I know everyone wants to win but it's an unfair way of winning and bordering the line of cheating as it's kinda exploiting a bug.

I remember seeing Valle Vista's manager (vprars06 is it?) say he beat the WAS or one of the special teams 5-1 with the 4-3-3 tactic a lot of clubs are using now... it's too unrealistic and I'm not a fan of these formations.

I use a 4-3-3 tactic, how am I cheating?

:rolleyes: there's a specific 4-3-3 that's cheap(see mkillah's tactic). and ash, i beat QPR this morning 4-2 when he was using the 0-5-5, maybe it was bad luck?

Thats probably the thing that really annoys me (I can see where alde was coming from when he said it to me now) is he could kick my ass anyway without resorting to tactics like these. I hope he was only testing it, but he seems to have been using it in a few matches.

I thought it wouldn't work now anyway.

Yeah I know... but I wanted to see where he placed his players... and when I looked, he only had two defensive midfielders! I would've expected more, seems very risky... (:/)

if u move ur defenders up as far as possible they appear as midfielders on the match stats...
and just to let everyone know that i don't use THE 4-3-3. It's cheap and i've written against it.

What are these cheap tactics?

Hey, is that 0-5-5 or 4-3-3 are very cheap and almost always work?:p Because i really need to find a good tactic for my team.

It has a very good success rate, however good tactics are being found out to beat it. :)

You cant on the tactics screen, it comes up with 2-3-5 or something like that. but theyre pushed up high, right against the line, so it shows up as midfielders on the match stats screen.

Oh. Well then it doesn't work for me as I lost 9-0.:confused:

What speed and stamina do your defenders have?

no but it is a strong formation for most teams (doesn't work for me but I seem to be in the minority) and makes the good teams even better and almost unbeatable.

That's right, me along with Ash have to think of different formations to combat this 4-3-3 as it rarely works for me. If you look at the top you'll see all the good teams (e.g White StarZ and Alpha Lipoic) use this sort of tactic. And people rarely beat them.
