I think Man Utd. made a wise choice signing Tim Howard. He was a Tremendous Keeper for the Metrostars and he is a fan favorite here. I am Positive that he won't disappoint Red Devil Fans!

Congrats Man Utd.!!!

On BBC and ITV last night there was no sports news.

I hope he turns out to be as good as everyone is saying he is. Even if he's half as good as that he'll be one of the best. :D

SKYSPORTS NEWS, which we get here in America on Fox Sports World, had a story on him.

For those who live outside the States, I wish you could see some more highlights of him. He is just incredible, and I'm sure he'll be an instant hit with the MAN UTD fans.

He most likely will. He will most likely to start at the game versus JUVENTUS at Giants Stadium. It will be a HomeComing match for him!

He has Tourettes Syndrome. But at least Howard's, unlike Barthez, is diagnosed.

Oh, yeah. Howard mentioned something that god is with him and helps him, with his syndrome. Still very interesting.

Widely recognised as one of the greatest guitarists in the world. Member of Derek and the Dominoes, cream, the Yardbirds etc. etc. and an accomplished solo career. It was meant as a bit oif a joke actually. :p

I wish people would stop bringing up his disorder. It's very mild, and he's outgrown it, which is normal for adults.

Totally agree, its wrong to recognise people for having a condition, he is just as normal as you and I.

Nope. He is a Premier League goalkeeper, you and I aren't.

Who is Eric Clapton?!!! :o Shock! Horror!

All Howard would need is a couple of good games in the US Tour and I think Barthez will be warming the bench for a while. I think Ferguson has run out of patience with his erratic form for the last couple of seasons.

Ok, but what does he has to do with Howard? Is he like playing music for him to feel better? And in that picture a dog is peeing on the sing, lol. Poor Eric.

The fact that the media keeps making an Emphasis about Howard's Tourette's Syndrome is STUPID!

I never saw or had any knowledge that he was affected by TS until he won the MLS HUMANITARIAN OF THE YEAR AWARD for his charitable work with TS a couple of years back. Since then, I never saw, nor remembered he had this condition until the Transfer Rumours began & the British Media began polking the subject.

LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!! The British Sports Media should be ashamed of themselves! TS neither Makes nor Breaks Tim Howard and that's what makes him a Great Player. :)

nothing - I was just making a joke that looks like it didn't come off. In the 70's people used to say 'Clapton is god' because of the way he plays the guitar. And whenever someone mentions god it reminds me of that saying. Thats all. :)

The fact that Tim Howard is now with MAN UTD. makes American Soccer Fans feel more confident with the Player Pool that we have nowadays. Never before has the US had such talent like we do now and that it keeps getting better. I predict good things for US Players in the Years to come. We are truly evolving into the NEW SOCCER NATION. :clapwap:
