My Fifa2003 will not render players during rain games. Please help me fix my problems.

I have the UK version...
I run it at 640x480 16, both medium and high detail. Low detail bums me out... I think it does away with the rain altogether. Can anything be done?

Both sets come from ati but the first work a lot better for me. Perhpas you want to try.
