that's the "big" signing according to McM's friend, golfer, Sergio Garcia.
To me, that says Arsenal will play without Bergkamp this season, and it explains why the offer to Bergy was paltry.
Wiltord is playing upfront, and McM and Pires will switch wings.

Of course that's if Sergio is being honest, because I seriously doubt Wenger will want a wide player, unless he has hopes of transforming him somehow.

In fact, Stevie is the best paid player in Real Madrid's squad. No wonder he wants to stay. He passed right aside a wonderful career in order to get a few extra million pounds at the Bernabeu. He's un-wanted, forgotten and badly treated in Madrid, but he's there for the money until he can't have more, so he will see out his contract which ends next summer.

No, he's not the best paid player, but maybe he's the most well paid among the not-super-stars.

I don't remember the numbers now, but he's earning muuuuuuch money every year.

According to FootballTransfers.info, Macca earns 75k-per-week, while Figo, Ronaldo and Zidane earn about 72k-per-week.

I think Macca's wages are a mistake that Perez inherited from Lorenzo Sanz's administration.

Last time I read it`s 70000 pounds per week. Arsenal refuse to give Kewell who asked 60000 pounds per week, so I don`t think they`ll sign Macca.

i'm pretty sure if mcmanaman goes to arsenal or whatever club in england, he'll take a paycut.

besides, is he being forced out of madrid? bc if i were him, i'd just sit another year and collect my money. it's not like he'll be playing much this season anyways, and he's already pretty content with staying on the bench...

I agree...sit back and enjoy the sun for another year before moving back to damp Britain. I think a good move would be Celtic or Rangers, champions league games and a good advertisment for himself back into the EPL.
