Well ,theres a ranking tables like the ones of fifa but it has all the ranking of every club in europe and Lazio is in 1st,Rome 2nd,Juventus 3rd and Milan 5th.

Here are rankings from IFFHS I got last week:

They are based on algorythmm similar to one used for tennis rankings, they take into consideration performance from January 99 to Jan 2000.

Its hard to say who the best countries in the world are since there haven't been any competitive games between countries from different continents since the world cup but here a my top teams of each continent:

Europe: Czech Rep.(great record in qualifiers)
S. America: Brazil(Copa America Champs.)
N. America: Mexico
Asia: S. Korea
Australasia: Australia
Africa: Nigeria/Cameroon(controversial penalty win for cameroon)

I don't see Uruguay or Nacional in there.
But you may say that they suck, and yes Uruguay hasn't had a desent team since 1978 and Nacional since 1988. But did you know that Uruguay has the most Imternational tropies in all of the Americas (and I'm not sure, but I think in the world to) and Nacional is curently the 3th best team in the World due to Tropies won and the 4th best South American Team...

The best Team in teh WOrl Is Benfica From Portugal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Benfica wave a great team, have a great stadium (Capacity to 100,000). This stadium will be the place for the final of Euro 2004. I hope that Portugal Win that championship.
