I can't get FIFA2000 or 2001 to work on my 2000 and XP machines. When I try FIFA2000 on 2000 or XP i get a 'program error' box and the program quits - so i cant even get this game to start.

FIFA2001 starts, but then crashes out when loading a match - after clicking the 'next' arrow on the controller select screen, there is a long pause, then the progress bar appears but then the game quits to the desktop. I've tried it in compatibility mode but it runs about 10 times slower on 95 or 98/Me modes, and is unplayable. Although however, i have tried 2001 on another XP machines and it works fine. So whats with this, is there anything that I can do to get both games working?

is your game an original or a pirated one?

I have the original (not pirated) FIFA 2001 and works on Windows 2000 with a Matrox G200, however, it doesn't work on a Windows 2000 system with an Nvidia MX440 video card.

Unless someone knows how to fix this, it looks like the game doesn't support the newer hardware on Win2k.

has been known to fix many compatability problems with Windows XP. Most stem from not being able to detect the 3D card properly. GALAHs patch has fifa's latest version of the 3DSetup utility allowing it to detect most new cards. Its worth a shot.
