For me it was during the UEFA Cup final. I remember I was listening to a radio while the game was going on when the goal in the Silver Goal time happened it went something like this(translated):

"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! PORTO!!!"

Same Guy: "ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!ITS A GOAL!!"

I was cracking my head up when that happened, much funnier in Portuguese though.;)

On manutd.com's live game commentary for the 6-2 game against Newcastle, when we were about 5-1 or 6-2 ahead, the commentator said: "we havent scored for a while, and i am not happy about that!" funny as hell...:D

ron aktinison calling someone a **** on air, when he thought he was off, it was about a player.

Yeah, argentinian radio commentators rule...:rockman: They go insane, i listened to one of them, berating at radio after River Plate scored a goal against Palmeiras, god, he screamed for about 6-7 minutes long... he was going insane:crazyboy:

Not in 02/03 but one of the best moments ever for me has got to be that amazing moment in the Arsenal-Chelsea FA Cup final when Ray Parlour Scored. Tim Lovejoy and this other dude (Gary Walsh or something...) were doin the Sky Sports Fan Zone commentary. It went something like this

Tim : Oh No! He's given the ball away! Never Mind its Only Ray Parlour!

Oh, is fan zone that room where 2 fans each from different team commentate? You guys are lucky, that you have that thing in britain. FSW Report once had that when Arsenal-Man U played.

When I heard commentary in Cantonese, I laugh my lung out.. It just damn funny,,and the commentators will not hesitate teasing the players with their word...

Cantonese is 1 of the most common dialect of a chinese language

hah, our hong kong commentators suck, they are so biased Wolves VS Newcastle they kept rooting for Newcastle. But they suck so much itz funny they were talking about Wolves transfers he points at Luzhny and says never heard of him, wtf do u even watch the EPL. and then he he points to Okronkwo and said never heard of him, I can kinda understand that. And then he points to Silas and says he jsut broke into the Brazillian National Team wtf, he is portugese. And to cap it all off he said he thinks wolves will get relagated.

Yeh, it is. Quite gud. Tim is one of the presenters of SoccerAM (just to any1 that doesn't know!) and a chelsea fan. Meanwhile gary Walsh was an Arsenal fan known for his way of the top celebrating when his beloved Arsenal Score...

in Finland most of the football commentators r lame, so I can´t remember a great commentary moment atm..

I have none I can recall as the best, but on a side note, we always mug ESPN's commentary, but there is a duo that is as good as any.
I can't remember the lead guy's name, but the colour commentator's name is Eddie Mighton I think.
They are great, especially when they "do" Madrid games, Mighton goes on and on and on about Ronaldo, and Zidane.
Nobody get's more excited for a replay than Mighton.
