I know that the game needs gameplay improvements, but please dont suggest this in here.

Jus wanted to know the general feeling of Linesman (Assistant Ref).

They are so crap! No point having them in the game! - UNLESS THEY ARE IMPROVED

Hope FIFA 2004 sees a revolution in these and also the Ref - maybe they will have the organic movement too :)

I know its an "EXTRA" but its so annoying when the Linesman are never up with the game and they also point without the flag!

Ref could do with more animations as well.

In fifa 2003 when i crossed the ball, the linesman would raise his flag a lot of times for offside(and rightly so) but it was never called by the ref :/

i believe that u have too much time on your hands and need concentrate on giving ur opinion on the actually post and not the spelling and grammar!! :)

I think they've improved the refs. I saw a pic where the ref had a watch around his arm.

..i saw the 1 minute gameplay movie n i can tell you that it has organic motion :) from the way they run... but also id like to see the linesmen make wrong decisions n players getting angry with them... n ref n the linesmen are arguing the decision..it adds realism though

the ref should come over to the linesmen and get there opinion,

or players are booked for dissent...happens all the time! players arguing off the ball while play continues! :) - they want to make it realistic, these little "NICETIES" do big things for realism

Linesmen should stand align with the last defender, so they can see an off-side clearly. In FIFA 2003, they don`t do that, they even sometimes got both their feet in the playin` area inside the line.

If you want to hear my opinion in real life the refs pretty much are the game for 90 min. Lets give them a little more respect on the game that they deserve. It might be a tall task to ask the FIFA creators to nail every detail of the ref given the game is based so much around the players but how bout different colored ref jerseys and seeing the linesmen properly do their job and being able to see the ref write donw info after giving a card. Or seeing the whistle he blows. Or how bout the ref signaling "play on" or players being able to "dive" and the ref penalizing or not acknowledging it. I think the game would be better if the refs had more functions and livened the game up! Let me know what you guys think!!!
