I am having a problem running FIFA 2000 with my Voodoo3 3000. When I try to play a game it just exits to windows, and when I try a resolution higher than 640x480, trying to access an ingame menu causes am error and the game crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this? Oh, I am also running DirectX 7, could that be the problem?

Here's what I have tried:
1)Rebooting
2)Installing newest 3dfx drivers
3)Reinstalling FIFA 2000

No its not your drivers or you V3 board the problem is the game thats filled with bugs, alot of people were having performance/crash problems with the warez version too.

If you are making the assumption that I am using the warez version, I am not. I have a full, legal copy of it.

I also have a V3 3000 on a PIII system. I installed and ran FIFA 2K without any problems, with resolutions upto 1024x768.

The only difference, I have DX6.1 installed, not DX7.

i run a Voodoo 3 2000 with direct x 7 and the game runs fine
