What kind of the glasses are the ones Davids wears?

Special Glasses, I bet they are custom made by his sponsors, and cost quite a bit.

Even though they are specially made, its a nice Edgar Davids trademark. :rockman:

They're special classes for his eye sight or sumthin'....

Davids suffers from glaucoma and hence the glasses.

they are prescription lenses while the frame is made by Nike.

he'll be Veron14 by Thursday.

they're probably oakleys or bolles...haha...but looks good on him no doubt...peace

I know there's some special reason why he cant wear contact lenses. Does anyone know why he cant wear them? (Something to do with the eye disease)

i dunno. someone did say he has glaucoma. maybe that's why.

I typed my reply wrong. What i meant was that you can wear contacts even if you have glaucoma (i think).

So why cant Davids?

I suppose being a classy player, you have to have an image that matches it.

i heard that if he doesnt wear those glasses he will get blind, and even wearing them theres a possibility...he cant use lens cause there arent lens for too high graduation eye disfunctions, no?

regardless of the glasses davids is a legend my man......besides i saw him not wearing them on the sidelines when i went to the super cup match....he was warming up and he didnt wear them

some eyes are not suitable for wearing contact lenses...if you go to the doctor, they will check if your eyes are suitable or not for wearing them..i think that david'S eyes are not suitable..i dunno the reason

I suppose that he really can´t wear contact lenses. I´d need glasses like that for playing too, or I actually have Nike frames like that already, but I can´t get proper lenses..

its because he runs soooooooo fast the he needs the goggles so that if a bug hits him, it doesnt blind him. they're made by nike and also include mini whipers that turn on in case of a bug splatter.:hump:
