Hi,I am a big fan of the fifa series and love everything EA have done in the past but i recently bought the premier league stars and it sux. I bought for a change and that was a big mistake. It ran choppy gameplay on my pc unlike any of the other titles in the past will Fifa 2000 do the same.

I've never played FAPLS but I can tell you
that f2k is not a big improvement from fifa 99 and World Cup 98,
Download the demo and decide for your self

If you want great graphics then yes, but if you care about the rosters then definitely not.

I HAVE BOUGHT THE GAME ON SATURDAY AND IT IS THE BEST GAME EVER, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BUYING IT AND NOT JUST FOR THE GRAPHICS. THE GAMEPLAY IS SUPERB AND VERY REALISTIC. YESTERDAY I WAS PLAYING ITALIAN SEASON AS INTER MILAN AND LOST TO ROMA 6-5 AWAY. THEY SCORED IN THE 82ND MINUTE AND I HAD CORNERS AT THE END BUT THEY DEFENDED WELL. ITS MUCH BETTER THAN FIFA 2000. IF YOU DONT BUY IT YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING. ITS AMAZING.

I own both FAPLS and FIFA2000. FIFA2000 has more resemblance to FIFA99 than FAPLS, that's for sure. But is it that good? Well, graphics certainly are (apart from in-game movies, those are not). Grass textures, shadows, stadiums are more like in FAPLS, though, which is good. Motion-capture is good. Collisions and deflections are nice. I like nets, too. But gameplaywise... I don't even know what to say. It's not good, and not bad, it's just NOT FOOTBALL. Also, I think, Prof. difficulty mode is too easy, World Class mode is too fast and thus very non-realistic. Also, rosters are incomplete, and some of them are all messed up.
If you want a football game, no.
If you want a mutation between Formula 1 and Soccer - yes! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
