Has anyone won the league or the CL with Chelsea FC in the first season without buying to many starplayers....what tactic did you use...I'm looking for the ultimate one for a team with the likes of Geremi, Veron, Duff, Joe Cole, Mutu....

I won the league, but not the CL, because they play in the UEFA-cup in season 1.

Gudjohnsen and Zola in front.
De Lucas instead of Ronaldinho.
Gallas instead of Riise

i don't know if it's the tactic, or the players.

Obviously the players have gotta match the strengths of the tactic etc, so I would say you do have a team that suits the tactic

Ok, What's your team- and playerinstructions?

Team: Gung-ho except the defenders (they play defensive), tackling: hard, closing down: always, I have zonal marking, and countre attack.

Players:

Riise: forward runs, long shots
Cole/Mancini: forward runs
Ronaldinho: long shots, free role, try trough balls
Arteta: try trough balls
