View Full Version : Proving the rumour
It was asked on these forums.. long ago, before cm4... before gareth.. probably when the forum was still separated into different sections.

rony31 21-08-2003, 06:23:AM maybe it's a bug because Elche have a better goal difference than Valencia B
But then wouldn't they be 3rd?
monkeyhappy 21-08-2003, 01:40:PM maybe tom has himself some photoshop software?
ill have a go at making something like that now, to see how easy or not as the case may be :)
monkeyhappy 21-08-2003, 01:50:PM here we are:
as you can see it would take minimal effort aswell, just like cm forums tom :p
just a few CM sreenies and photoshop!!;) :crazyboy:
monkeyhappy 21-08-2003, 01:57:PM :( sorry forgot it :(:(
Sir Calumn 21-08-2003, 03:20:PM May be the GD, beats me why Valencia B are third though

adam jansen 21-08-2003, 11:28:PM In Spain and Italy, if you finish on level points doesnt it go to a playoff?
Sir Calumn 22-08-2003, 12:44:AM I wouldn't know........ too far away ;)
-C
Yea, it goes to a playoff.
Atalanta and Reggina had one this year.
oh for god sakes, why dont you believe me, let me explain:
1. Valencia B CANT get promoted because i am already in the Premier Division with Valencia, meaning MATCH FIXING.
2. They finished 3rd (not 4th) because they BEAT Elche in both there games they played againt each other.
I HAVENT EVEN GOT BLOODY PHOTOSHOP!!!!!!!!

Ebonix 22-08-2003, 08:34:PM I know what you mean TROD.
IT happened all the time in the mens amatuer leagues I played in when I was 15. You kept on hearing about clubs who weren't promoted because their first team was 2 leagues above
there you go, except im only one league above. i cant believe you thought id edited the pic.... :crazyboy:
TROD.
Ebonix 23-08-2003, 03:36:PM Its really not that exciting though :p
Hugo-45-Viana 24-08-2003, 06:11:PM No, I believe third place in this case would be detemined by the outcome of matches between the 2 sides, Valencia B and Elche.

newbie
that's fairly recent :O
Mihalcea 14-09-2003, 06:21:PM that appens me a lot...with Sporting,my B team was twice the champions of division 2,and still they stay in thay same division
exactly, its kind of annoying but gives you a real sense of brilliance. lol
I mean, when you have Salva, Angulo and Diego Alonso all playing in the reserves, you know the other teams are gonna have problems. lol
TROD.
It would be ace but, to see if your reserves could beat your 1sts.
rpvankasteren 15-09-2003, 02:29:AM So, when your first team relegates, the 2nd team automatically would also relegate? Even when they become champions?
yep, well, either that or CM would break, the latter being the most probable.
