Ihad some troubles with tricks and my sidewinder and many with me! I tried to change my Y-button (header etc) to M-button (select) and took rush-button from R-button (actully z-button) to Y-button. Then i saved my configuration and started a game. Voila all my controls went back to original but now when i pressed my M-button i had "the special moves" on that button. Try that it worked for me!!!

yeah works for me. to me the m$ sidewinder is like a 3X oversized x-box controller :P
