I am still new to the game, but I have noticed something, and I am not sure if it is a bug or not. In the game, C. Ronaldo's value is around 2.8 million. I have offered 11.75 million, and I still get rejected! Is this a bug or not, because for him and a lot of other players they want a hell of a lot more than their actual value.

Also, for people who have bought Cristiano Ronaldo in the first season, can you guys tell me how much he cost, because I have a ton of money and I want to buy him pretty badly.

C.Ronaldo and Quaresma are always difficult to sign. I had to pay 25 million once in my second season for Quaresma

If you just wait, his contract expires in the second season. Put him on the shortlist and offer him a contract six months before it expires. (or thereabouts)

I just got him on a free. (he rejected his clubs' salary as "it wasn't enough for a player of his calibre") :lui:

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll just wait to get Cristiano Ronaldo and make improvements for the upcoming season instead. :)

Yeah they dont sell em easy, but they are worth the high prices.

When CM 03-04 comes out it'll be harder to sign them from Barca and Man U, but also sign players from Sporting since their finances will be highly improved.

All players have a low value in Portugal, its probably economic reasons.

11.75 mil is close to be accepted, add a little bit more.

ha!i bougt him for 1.8 million pounds.Well the offered them to me for that price!

i got him for £15m when his value was £12.75m. Sporting rejected my £25m bid and C.R got angry and spoke to the manager about it, then they accepted the £15m bid :D
