personally, mine was finding a youngster call kim kallstrom, took me to the top of the world at blackburn. Well actually took me to champions league.
Sir Calumn 22-08-2003, 12:43:AM Mine would be coming back from 4-0 down to winning the FA cup final 5-4.
Probably better, but I've forgotten them.

rony31 22-08-2003, 12:46:AM beating Roma 4-0 away with Milan :rockman: :)
Sir Calumn 22-08-2003, 12:47:AM LOL, what game was that in? (version I mean)
-C
rony31 22-08-2003, 01:11:AM the original one  :crazyboy:
Bloody Roma.
There like a ****ing steam engine in that game.
My Greatest Moment was when I won
When I Won 6 Worldcups in a Row, with Australia
Sir Calumn 22-08-2003, 03:00:PM Yeah I agree about Roma, way overated.
-C
dodgymanc 22-08-2003, 03:19:PM me, beating a Premiership winning Arsenal 5-1 in the FA Cup with a Division 2 Farnborough side!!!

adam jansen 24-08-2003, 11:18:PM Cool i made a sticky thread
My best result would have to be chinning Athletico Madrid 10-0 with my all powerful Real side. Just dont talk about Champions League - or the coppa del rey come to think about it.
rony31 24-08-2003, 11:28:PM this was also pretty sweet for me :p
now THATS brilliant. ;)

The Kop Kid 25-10-2003, 12:06:AM Not my greatest moment, but I did really enjoy watching this one. I was 5-0 up at one stage, and they also had three goals ruled offside (my offside trap is awesome, check the screen) which was fantastic as Old Trafford would have been going nuts.:funny: And if that wasn't enough, it also killed off their title hopes. :funny: :funny:
either that or Ruud is having eye-sight problems.

I think that he may have been on something that day. I saw him in the tunnel at half time giggling and muttering things like "the snails are chasing me" and "chocolate, it's all chocolate."
Leyther 25-10-2003, 12:12:PM Helping Enfield avoid relegation from the Conference in their first season with mainly young players, and then getting them promoted the next season and taking them to the top half of Division Three has to be my proudest moment
you see i like that one, its realistic, yet also REALLY good. Well done mate.

rony31 26-10-2003, 03:23:AM ha... love to play Inter :D
damn you Rony, not only an Inter-slamming screenie, but you still managed to put a smilie in that post. ]
Typical inconsistant Emre performance there i see.
TROD.
rony31 26-10-2003, 04:58:AM typical inconsistent EVERYONE, I would say... except Kallon and Sorin
BTW, stop bashing my smilie-including posts
meh. i win. lol
Inter are very good and consistant usually, but Emres work rate and Dalmats disgust me.
TROD.
rony31 26-10-2003, 05:05:AM NOOO! MY SMILIES ARE GONE! :f***: Cheat 2 Win! :crazyboy:
and ya, Inter ALWAYS have left midfield problems when I play with Milan... just like in real life! :wootman:
ill let you have your smilies... for now.
seriously though, Dalmat is on loan at Spurs now, and even know he has a problem with work rate, sure he does the odd bit of genious, but often he just wait around, its the same at Inter.
TROD.
rony31 26-10-2003, 10:09:AM here's Dalmat in my Milan game... Emre's just as bad, but he's doing well this season
(Emre's usually at MLC, Dalmat at left wing)
they're both very good players, but in real life and on CM they never ever get invloved in the game enough.
TROD.
footiemad 27-10-2003, 12:06:AM Beating Man U away 6-1 with my Chelsea team
They still won the league but :rockman:
Ebonix 28-10-2003, 05:21:PM Well, I'm sure I've told some of you about this but I once managed to temp Mark Kerr to W.B.A in a transfer which also had AC Milan, Lazio & Inter (I think it was those 3) all voching for him. So he joined W.B.A insted of 3 big italian giants

Shindig 05-11-2003, 12:53:AM Speaking of West Brom......
Finally got the League Cup after 2 Semi-final screw-ups. The mighty Wimbledon got beat 1-0 thanks to a Jason Roberts goal. Roberts then got sent off.
2nd place in the Premiership with a slim chance of toppling Man Utd
OH! I can also could get a spot in the FA Cup Final. Aston Villa stand in the way and it could earn Jupp Heynckes the sack.

I just started a game with German 2nd Division nobodies Duisburg (just chose a team I've never heard of and with a young average age :p)... 1st so far in the 2nd Division, I think I have a record of 5W-1L-3D, not sure... made it to the 3rd round of the German Cup (beat Werder Bremen)... so ya, I'll see how this game goes and keep you updated (PS: only £150K transfer money :()
Shindig 10-11-2003, 04:00:AM Quite chuffed to beat Spurs in the League Cup. With Rushden.
Darren Anderton got sent off. Duane Darby got the winner.
The Kop Kid 10-11-2003, 03:57:PM My Plymouth game is going pretty well. Since taking charge I've won 3 promotions, 3 league cups, 2 F.A cups and I'm currently top of the Premiership by about 15 points, have knocked Arsenal out of the F.A Cup 3-0 and just beaten Real Madrid 4-2 in the Champions League, so I'm pretty happy with the progress especially as I get much less money to work with as Plymouth than I would at say, Man United. :)
that is very good, some of those screenshots are legendary! lol

The Kop Kid 12-11-2003, 11:29:PM he,he. Cheers Trod and I love the captain rum sig...."why, you have a womans sig m'lord. I'll wager that sig has never...." :crazyboy:
Hmmm...if I'm thinking of the wrong thing that sentence is going to look completely insane. Oh well. I backspace for no man!
YAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY someone knows it.

The Kop Kid 12-11-2003, 11:55:PM I have a PM!? I'll go look. I'm kinda at work while doing this so it takes me a while to reply.

TROD.
The Kop Kid 13-11-2003, 12:21:AM I'm 28 which probably makes me the oldest here, though I'm still basically a big kid when it comes to games. I work from home trading futures and currencies. You?
Oh, I returned your PM incidentally.

Right, shove that. I've bettered it.
Rotherham are in the semi finals.:rockman:
We beat Walsall 3-1 in the first round
Then came West Ham .... (1-0 or something. We usually scrape through)
Then came Aston Villa...... (again, a narrow win)
Then Everton.... (2-1 ..... Rooney got a nice debut but he's crap compared to Moukoko)
So it's Leeds in the semi final. Cha-ching! Not too shabby for a 2nd Division side.
hum dunno but i guess it was doing more then fourty seasons with benfica and wining like 40 portuguese champ in a row, along with like 15 uefa champs league in a row but like 30/35 in total...
or picking up a clube from the 3rd division in portugal and in 9 seasons making then wining the uafe cup 2 times in a row and one portuguese championchip...

Ebonix 20-12-2003, 11:44:PM I won the world cup with England once on CM97/98. The world cup 98 that is
The Kop Kid 29-12-2003, 10:57:AM Possibly this. Not because it was a big achievement or because the team performed well, as it was an utterly crap season. The last day of the season win though, and a margin of victory giving me a goal difference of +1 over Man United, and therefore the Premiership was Sweeeeeet. :) Also the winning goal came on 81 minutes. :D
WOAH, one more GD than man utd! class

thechulloran 27-04-2004, 11:08:PM All I ever wanted to do was to surpass Real Madrid's European Cup record.
Took me until 2017 to win my first CL, before that I had been in more than 5 CL finals losing all of them!!! I made many finals appearances, and I was on level with Real in in the number of wins and they regained it by beating me in the final.
Anyways 2048 I finally got the record for CL titles (11) and not just that,I had my best season ever, won the quadruple, I ended my FA cup cup duck of like 20 years.
I finally could retire and end this addictiveness of CM. Good memories and good riddance.
Took almost 50 seasons just to get the record. F.uckin stressful.
brilliant story! cant believe you didnt get it 5 times! lol
