Sorry if this has been already asked,but i'm just curious to know what version of FIFA 2004 are you getting.As for me,i'll buy the Gamecube version,what about you guys??

im getting PS2 cuz im not really fund of the xbox controller and i got both consoles by the way, and i dont really like the xbox just becuz of the controller. But i only have footy games on PS2 and i only football games so thats why im not use to the xbox controller but i still dont like it so for me its ps2 all the way eventho im gonna end up getting that beach soccer and urban freestyle soccer on xbox:rockman:

The GC is IMO the console with the best games(hey,it has the RE games)and sagas like Mario,Zelda,Metroid,F zero and others

Well, some people aren't as fortunate as you or the other peple who have fancy and top of the line PCs with nice GFX card. I have to settle for the PS2 version of FIFA 2004 due to my ****ty PC. I'm content with my PS2.

Actually I'm on a tight budget, so I had to settle for an MSI Geforce FX 5600 which is just 80 quid inc vat & p+p.

You can get a high end system with the same amount of money you could get a PS2 with nowadays. :o

Yeah, that's true actually. It's all a matter of looking for the right one, but Sony keep dropping the price of the PS2. ;)

well i called him an idiot because he's posting and acting like one,intead of saying "gamecube sux" he could have explained with better civilizized words the reason of why he thinks the gamecube it's not the best console out there

The fun in it, is that with the money you spent on your ps2, you could have bought a Radeon 9500 PRO ... and scuse me if THAT'S LITTLE!!!!
I dont bother discussing which consoles are best and which are worst, but I have to say, that I dont own any, and play on my computer. Top of the line?? hmmm ... thought so ... but after reading a preview with a similar system ... it's been called middle ... you can see the specs in my sig.
The pc holds inneral advantages. Like endless updates, and online play, and just like any other game ... that's reason nuff for me to upgrade my computer and buy games at a lower cost than console games.

what do i have to do to get it for pc cause i have a windows ME but i downloaded last years demo and it was way too slow so i would buy it for pc if i can play in regular speed

the thing is many people like me like more console games than PC games,for example you can't play FFX on PC just like SH2-3,REmake,RE0,Metroid,Zelda and other great games that only come out for consoles like ps2 and GC

I'm willing to spend $50 retail price for PS2 version.

For the first time in 6 years i am gettin it on PS2. It responds so much better on a PS2 and is so much smoother.

I may get it on PC aswell though because i like editing stuff.

DUH! You have the money to buy 2 games ... but not to make your comp run it smooth??? DUH!!!! Btw ... it's arguable if Crash Bandicoot games are .... great. But I guess it all boiles down to tastes ... and they are hard to discuss. Still ... I explain my reasons for buying it on pc. For me ... such games hold little appeal, while games like Command & Conquer Generals ... Lock On ... Jedi Academy and such ... hold much more interest. Those are ... real games ... the others are IMO for kids. I know JA will be available on GC too ... so? Can anybody say, that a shooter is easier with a gamepad rather than with mouse and keyboard??? I don't think so. Same goes for Flight Sims ... Joysticks and a keyboard mapped with functions ... and I seriously mean ... EVRY key has a function ... and pressing shift .. evry key holds a new function! How do you get that on a console? If for Fifa you like the PS controller ... well .. there are adaptors or even better controllers out there ... shouldn't be a problem. so Fifa should surely be a computer game ... like any other if it could be brought over to a comp.
