Gerrard has said those things presumably to spice things up at Anfield, and to give more incentive for his teammates to do well, in order to get the club to the Champions League.

If Liverpool doesn't make Europe's premier competition - again - then he will consider leaving, although I don't think he'll really make good his 'threat'. He could potentially leave for nothing at the end of his contract, though.

i doubt he will leave us next season even if we failed to qualify for the CL again as ewan said he bleed scouse blood....
