I would say its ok we'll just hope that ashley cole doesnt get injured
He'll be the.. what.. 10th Dutchman at Barca?
heheh
samoth 26-08-2003, 12:42:PM He cost 8.5 million pounds?
Money well spent Arsenal :kader:
PaPaGeorGeo 26-08-2003, 12:44:PM Yeh but 8 mill back then is like 3 mill now
rhizome17 26-08-2003, 12:48:PM So back then Beckham was worth 66 million odd. ok.
PaPaGeorGeo 26-08-2003, 02:00:PM Beckham is worth more than 66 mill not for his skills but for his Poster value
PSVFOREVER 26-08-2003, 02:10:PM He should come to PSV
PaPaGeorGeo 26-08-2003, 02:17:PM He can go anywhere as long as we get good money for him
jigger37 26-08-2003, 02:21:PM ..and 28 mill on veron?
i dont know how i feel about this, cos the squad will just be getting smaller.though clichy was brought in as cover for cole i think.
Fernandez 26-08-2003, 02:48:PM the dutch revolution continues in barca...
Andrew 26-08-2003, 02:53:PM oh well 2morow there will be reports that chelski have made offers
valioso 26-08-2003, 03:43:PM i dont believe much of what planetfootball writes..
Frostwolf 26-08-2003, 04:58:PM i dont believe anything on planetfootball, except for stuff that has already been confirmed at more respectable sources.
antithesis 26-08-2003, 06:56:PM with The Arsenal getting suspensions and video reviews, sending offs and yellows this seems like an unecessary risk.
On the other hand, the cruciate inujury limited VanB, shockingly I might add, because I witness NFL players overcoming that injury with ease.
This was just a blunder from Wenger, an excusable blunder, because he was a logical transfer who should be able to cover Cole, Pires or Ljungberg. It just never happened.

Would be nice for to have a small forum here where forum members can post links to respectable sources here. :o :mrpimp:

jigger37 26-08-2003, 07:59:PM he just joined em,good luck to him.
shokz 26-08-2003, 10:05:PM Help get them a place in Europe for next year.
panxoman 27-08-2003, 01:22:PM what do u arsenal fans think of him?
is he good?
can you make a little description of this player from a supporter's point of view. Sure it will be different and more realistic than what what I've read in the newsapers.
Thanks
I think the agreement is good for both clubs. Barça needs a leftback and Arsenal saves some money.
PaPaGeorGeo 27-08-2003, 01:42:PM Didnt really get to see much of him cause he was a fringe player here only got games here and there
panxoman 28-08-2003, 10:45:AM oh oh (:/) ... I see.
Doesn't sound too good .
mhflierman 28-08-2003, 10:51:AM Can someone (preferably antithesis) explain to me why Arsenal brought in Van Bronckhorst in the first place? I feel a bit sorry for him, he hasn't really been able to give his all because of his unlucky injury.
PS I'm not asking this to diss you, I genuinely can't remember what Arsenal's squad was like before Gio came to Highbury.
