Please read Carefully!
1) Maximum player ability is 700 points (You can use fewer points if you want)
2) Maximum value for a single ability is 20 (Stamina for example)
2a) Injury proneness will be reversibly scored. 1=20 points, 5=16 points, 10=11 points, 15=6 points, 20=1 point. This is the same for Eccentricity, Dirtiness, and Controversy. (For example if you want to have injury proneness 5, you will have to pay 16 points)
3) There is one “ability” that costs twice. This is a special ability.
This ability is: Handling for Goalkeepers, Tackling for Defenders, Passing for Midfielders and Finishing for Strikers. For example if your position is Striker and finishing ability is 18 that will cost you 36 points. If you wish to have 2 (or more) positions, for example Striker and Midfielder this means you will have to “pay” for 2 (or more) special abilities. Finishing and Passing.
4) CM4 also uses random abilities. An “Ability” is random when the value that defines this ability is set to be 0. Random abilities cost 12points.
5) Foot. Both must be at least 1, unless you want to use random ability.
6) You don’t have to use your real name if you don’t want, or use your real age
7) 25 players will be allowed in the first team. If you want to sign up, after the positions have been filled, do this in the reserves thread. Rules for reserves are as above, except the total points limit. The limit for reserves is 650 points.
8) The number of reserves needed is 15, but we'll take up to 25 reserves. If less then 15 reserves are signed up, the people who signed up fastest will be allowed to sign up a second player, at 600 points max (only up to 15 reserves).

Tip1: Select SG United as one of your favourite clubs. It will be easier if you do that for our club to keep you “home” when other big clubs will probably want to buy you.

Tip2: Try to use a birthday that will make you young enough so you can play as many years as possible for the club, and have a long career. An age around 16 is very good

Ok. But I'm worried that ParraPower didn't notice he is not approved! He is one of the first who signed up but....I've alreay sent him 2 PMs and 2mails but I'm not sure if he got'em... Kader said he'll edit his stats later, I'm not sure if JTNY got the PM I sent, telling him to edit his stats, same goes for flamehawk and Jon Siker.

I wouldn't worry about them, they'll update the stats as well. They've probably got other things to do. Give it some time and it'll be ok.

If anyone fails to edit their stats to comply with the rules, you'll just have to do it yourself. I did that last time with some players as well.

Thats it! player signups for the first team are now finished. MastaLFC and buggati can edit their posts, to get approved, and only one signup will be accepted. And only from LiamBest. But he and MastaLFC & buggati have time only until wednesday 12 noon. thats when this thread will be closed. If any player fails to be approved by then, theydont have ti worry, we will edit their stats and they will be withing the 700point limit. (this also means their edited stats will probably not be the best possible)

I've just re-read the first post, and it says there's only one ability for each position which counts as double. Since my player is a midfielder, and a midfielder only, only the Passing attribute should be doubled? If that's so, I still have more points to add to my player if Tackling and Finishing isn't doubled

You have 682 points total. But that's counting 20 for both Right and Left Foot (you didn't specify clearly). So you have 18 points to give like that and 19 extra if you change either foot to 1...

Sorry, Marc, but registrations for first team players closed after Liam's sign-up. You may still sign up a reserve player, but a limit of 650 points is now in place...

and your points total as it stands is 733, so WAY over the limit of 650...

About the reversible scoring: it costs a point more per ability, as 20 costs 1 and 1 costs 20 (total of what you want and what you pay is always 21)

To clarify: Right and Left Foot cost the points awarded to them. so 16 right foot costs 16 points. At the foot abilities you said: Either (or right). This means 40 points, 20 for left and 20 for right, go here. You don't get them for free.

That's where your points have gone, not finishing and tackling. Anyway: yes you can appoint your 18 points now :)
