Hullo, all.

I'm now managing Farnborough, a Conference team which I'm trying to bring up to the higher leagues (every manager's dream, I am sure :-) ) I've been through all the guides and do everything I need to make my players fit, skilled and all that.

However, one aspect of the team still eludes me: teamwork. My team's teamwork is always rated around 60 - 70 and I can't get to to go any higher. How is the team's teamwork rated and how do I raise it?

A second question is: how do I improve my existing players' tactical training. My youth players all get a Tactical Training level of 8 but my senior players' ratings seem to be fixed.

teamwork includes how lond the current team has played together i mean if you do like chelsea and a new 1st 11 then it will be low..just keep your team as it is and then bring some players in thats wat i have been told anyway!
as for the seniors it is dependant on the coach/ast man you have!!
hope it helps you..

- for teamwork, simply play the team together the figure is calculated by how many in the current team have played the last 5 games, more primarily the first and second ones.

- for tactical training, you can hire coaches who specifically raise it (increases tactical training by x%) and put in more tactics lessons. Youth players are easiest to train - the figure increases very quickly to time to a maximum of 8, whereas mainteam players can take years, depending on talent. Don't expect conference-quality players to be 8 straight away!

OK... so essentially teamwork comes from match experience, fine. Will it do me good in the long run to rotate players then? I have been rotating my squad quite regularly, to keep the overall team morale up (because they apparently get unhappy about sitting on the bench all the time) and the teamwork sometimes dips very low as a result.

If I insist on player rotation, what would be the best frequency for it? I now do it every matchday, but since you've put the teamwork's calculation that way would it be better then to rotate them every 2 games instead?

And one more question: Is there something other than leadership attributes that make a good captain?
