I've played a lot with the NHL and NBA series and it seems to me that the FIFA series is allways behind in terms of technology, quality, features and most of all polishing. Especially FIFA 2000, it really looks like a game that could of used more time. Why is that?

Is it the number of teams and players? Unlike the NHL or NBA, I know it's not that easy to get info on soccer teams.

Maybe the people who made the database in the Championship manager game could help you out. Their database is insainly huge and also very accurate.

you know what I realized? Most of the research in FIFA 2000 was taken from the FA Premier Football League Manager 2000. In this game, it is very inaccurate, so, the result -- the research in FIFA is inaccurate too,

The roster for FA Manger 2000 were done by the users, because EA asked for help on the database. I did the portuguese league and after all the hard work of player and roster accuracy they leave the league out due to legal issuses. I think they used the same ones they made up for the year before and only update the English,Italian, and Spanish leagues.
