nowadays after theyve started to do the BULK MAIL option in their mailboxes i get all these junk mails which are obviously viruses but what i dont get is this. i got this account 1 week ago and ive only sent like 10 emails but for some reason they send me virus emails with email adresses that are my friends but that i have not ever used there do u guys know how the hell theyre able to do this? and btw all the mails have a .pif attachment.

yeah those .pifs are viruses. I got sent 1 but i deleted it straight away. Sorry I cant help you about it. You could just get a hotmail address for free.;)

hotmail even sucks more... 1stly it has the smallest capacity... 2ndly it is bloody slow...

but i must admit that i do received a lot of bulk mail lately, but it only happen to me just a couple of weeks before, before that i've been using yahoo mail for over 2 years now without having received any bulk mail like recently....

Yahoo is painfully bad, im never going back there again( i just hate their system...bah..). Hotmail is even worst, i used to get so much junk on there ; it was impossible for me to check my e-mail.

I am very happy with Yahoo mail. I like the bulk mail folder, cos you can just click 'empty' and get rid of it all plus you can create your own folders for mail to go into and you get a high capacity.

Yeah, Hotmail sucks, they give you no storage space and you constantly get spammed as others have said, but I can't be bothered changing as I can use my Hotmail account for other stuff like MSN Messenger etc..

um boosted, u can use any email adress and sign in with that in msn..

I dont have a problem with hotmail, but then again, i dont sign up for usless garbage which is open to having my email address sold to 3rd parties. :D

it depends who gets ur email not the email server... i used to have that junk mail but then i just stopped giving my email away to ppl and forums.. i use a second email for all that
and it works fine enough..

You should just find a free ISP and check if they provide POP3 email adresses. POP3 is good, you can use Outlook Express which is nice. Or, like me, get a university email account. (H)

well, if your in their address book, then the virus might replicate itself and send to everyone in the infected persons address book.
