The J-League kicked off today, with some very dissapointing results. Last year's champions, Jubilo, Last year's Emperor's Cup winners, Grampus Eight, Last year's Emperor's Cup runners-up, Sanfrecce, and Last year's third-place overall standing team, the F Marinos, all lost their games and are tied in twelfth place. If that wasn't enough, the team which barely missed relegation, JEF, won their game 6-1 to be on top of the JLeague.
