BASICALLY I JUST want to know if champions league 2000 is a good game?...i hear it has the best on field action so far and that it is better than fifa2k (any game is better than fifa2k) i just want to know if champions league 2k is worth buying like iss evoulution and is it good as iss...

Its a lot like FIFA2k, even the controlls are alike, I even thought it was from EA. But the pace is a lot slower and the kits are very nice, I suggest you look for a demo before buying.

I played the CL 2000 demo, and, well I wasn't impressed. The keeper AI is no existent. A freekick from Bayern - Bosnich jumped for it and it went through his hands...

Bosnich huh...maybe that's not so unrealistic then....

ok is cl 2000 better than fifa 2k or are they the same .....and most importantly is the goalie in cl 200 really crappy as one of you said? i mean do matches end in scores like 9-8 like fifa or 2-1 like in iss???

CL is a lot like FIFA2k and the matches are more like 8x6 then 2x1. And the goalie is a bit better then FIFA2k goalie.

ISS Evolution is the best ! No Doubt !

btw, Konami will release a new soccer game for PSX on june, the game will be called Winning Eleven 2000 !

I'd get Microsoft International Soccer. Great game! Or why not get a budget copy of Fifa 98 or World Cup 98? They're still the best footie games out there!

WLS98 is still my favourite football game (on Saturn), better even than ISS Evolution IMO. CL is the new WLS. But ISS Evolution is a class game

and please if anyone played cl 2000 then tell me what it is the like...the moves..the passing the scoring , the game speed , the modes , graphics, gameplay ....THE GOODS....

OK, here we go. CL 2000 PC version:
CL 2000 is not nearly as bad as some reviews on the suggest.
The graphics are decent, player's names on the back, linesmen, even the bloody water bottle is there. You'll need a good D3D card though. The gameplay has a bit more variation than Fifa 2K, but feels familiar.
It's possible to build up a decent attack and score in more ways than in Fifa 2k.
Commentary is OK, but Motson is a lot better. If you like playing classics, it has all the finals from 1968 up till now, with commentary for all players, replica kits and the works. Also scenario's in which you replay part of a final and either change history or repeat it.
Drawbacks: it's kinda slow (high end PC and 3D card recommended, a little unstable (at least on my system, and has only CL teams and former finalists in it.
Don't be scared off by reviews of CL 1999, this one is a 100 % better!
I prefer CL2000 over Fifa 2K at the moment, but why not find out for yourself?
