Why would hockey be final? Football isn't final. There's always room for expansion & improvements.

Don't worry, I'm sure text and statistics will be coming in the next 2 weeks, they'd surely come before the first league matches start :)

Yeah, I don't think they'll be done until the sim for the new season is finished.
