u guyz r strange!!!
if england is unable to protect fans in 2006,then would south africa or morocco or any country outside europe do a better job?
i think it's either england or germany, the rest can't do a better job if they host the WC..

England can't do crap! There will just be more incidents of English fans trying to fight fans from other countries knowing they outnumbered them. We know now what happends to English fans when there is an equal amount of people fighting from both sides. Plz don't let England host they will ruin everything http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/mad.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/mad.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/mad.gif

Ah, some more of Mrkovic's xenophobia...

What do you do when you wake up in the morning - burn an England flag?

We're still waiting for 'evidence' of the great conspiracy you mentioned before.

You guys talk a lot about how england should be the host, but Kimiz has a point If they cant protect just 1500 fans how they will protect 1,000,000 in the next WC. I think SAFrica would be a much better choice since violence in their stadiums are not are problem and they never hosted a WC before.

You all forget that England succesfully hosted Euro 96, despite warnings of gang warfare between fans and the like - the only night when fans were arrested was when four were done for D&D after England-Germany. South Africa's crime rate is a worry though - FIFA shouldn't give it to a country just because they haven't hosted a World Cup - they should choose the best and safest bid. I know that if it came here in 2006, the atmosphere would be even better than Euro 96, and I would love that. Having said that, if Germany won it, I wouldn't be that unhappy as its not far to travel and they also have top class facilities.

What about Brazil? they hosted a WC 50 year ago, I think they deserve to host 2006.

Let's get back to the main point, this incident is arguably very damaging to England's chances to host WC2006.

Let's count the countries who are angry at England now, the enemies they made in the last year: Yugoslavia, Russia, Turkey, Sweden(CWC final incidents), France(Uefa cup incidents).

Balkan nations and rest of Eastern Europe will now more likely vote for Germany. Also, Germany probably did themselves more good by going to Confederations cup(gracious losers) than England by sending Man U to WCC(where they were criticized by local press for various reasons). So South and North America are more likely to vote for Germany also.

All in all I think it looks pretty bad for England right now.

Why do idiots always have to bring politics into sport??

Mrkovic, FOOTBALL IS A GAME!! Why don't you take your prejudices elsewhere?!!!!

Neutral, I dont know whats wrong with you. Do you not remeber the NATO crimes comited against Yugoslavia last year?? Many people are dead, and even more homeless, thanks mainly to the English and American goverments.

And Mark...
"Why do idiots always have to bring politics into sport??"

Dont give that crap. What is the reason do you think that Yugoslavia didnt perticapate in Euro92, WC94 and Euro96? Or that Partizan Belgrade had to play it's home game in the UEFA Cup in Holland, and Red Star in Bulgaria? Or even, why cant the UK play in the Olyimpics?

Face it mate, Football & Politics do mix...

Holy cow.....this is a football/videogame forum if you want to discuss any political grievances why don't you go to another forum rather than insulting anything to do with England at every available opportunity.

I wasn't sure what you were on about because, quite honestly, the thought never occured to me - I thought it had something (anything) to do with football....

Now im not trying to get in a debate here but Mrkovic maybe you should look at yourselves when you say how many Yugo people NATO killed. Youre not exactly clean yourselves there when it coems to killing others
