Kinda off-topic but here is what Sheva said :

"'The true supporter knows Rui's contribution in every game. Only amateurs do whistle and unfortunately there are a lot of them."

Regarding Rivaldo, the same basis could be used..

And btw, RIVALDO IS IN BRAZIL WITH HIS KIDS WHO ARE SEPERATED FROM HIM.

HE DIDNT WALK OUT ON MILAN

HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO PLAY A GAME AFTER TRAVELLING AROUND 20 HOURS?

Rivaldo ended his career in 2001. Or maybe in 2000 with the goal to Valencia in the last match. I think...

Deportivo were interested in bringing him back to La Coruna on loan during the summer........

Rivaldo was a top player but now he doesn't add anything to a big team.

Maybe he could still be a star in a smaller club but in Milan he may become a pain in the ass. He has a very hight salary, he's injured very often and when he plays he's not better than many other members of the team.

the problem with rivaldo is his attitude..

Rivaldo's best days are pretty much over. Judging by what I saw last season, he didn't play a single decent game, more often slowing down Milan's attack than building it up.

Besides, I don't think he really fits very well in the Milan system as they like to play the ball through to their quick strikers Inzaghi and Shevchenko.

Rivaldo is an amazing talent, but I think he should take his skills to a somewhat smaller club to regain his form.

Well, i think this is just a rumor. Ancelotti has named Rivaldo in the squad to face Ajax.

MILANELLO - Carlo Ancelotti has named 21 players for Tuesday's Champions League match against Ajax at the San Siro (kick off 8.45pm CET). Here is the complete list:

GOALKEEPERS: Abbiati, Dida.

DEFENDERS: Cafu, Costacurta, Laursen, Maldini, Nesta, Simic.

MIDFIELDERS: Ambrosini, Brocchi, Gattuso, Kakŕ, Pirlo, Redondo, Rivaldo, Rui Costa, Seedorf, Serginho.

FORWARDS: Borriello, Inzaghi, Shevchenko, Tomasson.

IMO Rivaldo should never had gone to AC Milan in the first place, should had gone to another La Liga Club, or to France or Germany.... though if Milan sells him then I doubt he would go to Qatar since his career isn't done yet.. and he probably still wants to get into the Brazilian NT...

got a question, do brazilians still dislike rivaldo? or has that passed after his performances in the previous world cup.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd like to see him go home and play for a Brazilian club, but that won't happen.

Did Brazilians ever dislike Rivaldo?? IMO you can't really ask that since the Rivaldo that plays in for Brazil is almost the opposite the one that plays for AC Milan, with Brazil Rivaldo is inspired, with Milan, he almost sucks

I suppose his world cup performance doesnt count as part of his "career"

ok but before this past world cup, weren't brazilians upset with rivaldo saying that he gave his all for his club (barcelona) and was uninspiring for country? so i assume, all is well now with him and the national fans.

Other than finishing, Rui Costa is better than Rivaldo in every way shape and form. I do see some years left in Rivaldo, but not when players like Kaka and Rui Costa are on the team.

He can play with nt, but not every week in a big team of La Liga or Calcio. Every time in 2001 that he played with Brasil, later was 1 or 2 weeks injured. Rivaldo WAS the best, but his time ended. What he did last season in Milan?. The top players aren't in the bench. This Rivaldo is a 50% of 1999. And also Calcio is a fantasy players killer.

THAT'S ME! :o

also, Ive always hated Rivaldo... I dont just hate him because he played bad last season

he's always been a no good diver, and his actions at WC2002 pissed me off and made me hate him even more... if he did walk out, good riddance, if not... well then he better play his ass off against Ajax, cuz if he doesn't, he can expect to be on the bench for a loooooong time

Rivaldo sucks at Milan mainly because he is forced to play on the far left, when he would prefer to play down the centre.

He isn't even get a chance to play for Milan this season especially with the signing of Kaka, think he will move in January.

maybe he'll never get in a champions league match til the transfer window opens, and some other team can pick him up and play him.

if he doesn't get any burn soon, he's as good as gone, i think.

No he aint forced on the left..

All the playmakers at Milan have always enjoyed a free role..

Rui Costa..

Rivaldo

And Kaká too..

Carlo Ancelotti has said that a Brazillian trident will play againts Ajax behind Shevchenko, thus resting Inzaghi..

Kaká-------Rivaldo-------Serginho

-----------Shevchenko--------------
