In FIFA 2004, does anybody know if:

1) You can strike the ball first time when collecting a loose ball i.e. rebound.
As in FIFA 2003, the player controls it first and the power metre then has to be increased to finish, which can take considerable amount of time.

2) You can round the goalkeeper.
As in FIFA 2003, the goalkeeper makes a miraculous dive onto the ball everytime you attempt to round him. I think i may have done it once, but the game became glitchy when it happened.

These kind of little things make a game great. Dunno if it can be done in fifa04, but they never show movies of those little things, thats why im still not impressed with all those fifa videos.

Ask these things to Matt Holme or to IGN testers.

In the upcoming weeks I might get another go at playing the game. Until then I can't answer these, but with organic motion I believe your first question will be fixed in FIFA 2004.

Volleys from rebounds are possible.
I've done it before with VDV, tapping "A" twice.

I think it only works if the player is a couple of metres away from the ball.
