this thread is legitimate.
we don't need the moderators to go Nazi on us all the time.

I believe it and have said it all the time, RVN is a little cheater, he nibbles at defenders, he elbows and he gets away with it over and over.
Good on him because he is totally committed to winning, but he is the opposition so I am disgusted.

antithesis, every defender in the world does that. So should every striker, or IMO they are not doing the most they can to perform at the highest level possible. This is football. Not some pussy sport like basketball. I allready think refs today give out cards too easily, especially the English ones it seems.

I think Ruud's dives not enough to match Robert Pires' whose dives could won the penalty.

His cheating, elbowing also far from behind what Martin Keown, Grimandi (no more), and last but not least, Dennis Bergkamp had done.

Before you provoke anything, flashback those your memories.
Ask yourself. Ask............

maybe you missed the bit when I said "but he is the opposition".

I have no problem if a referee lets a few shoves, pushoffs and jabs go, but do it for all teams and all players, not just the confectionery players, like RVN, Owen and Bergkamp.

We regret what Cantona did at the match, and he had been punished.

So according to you, with the Cantona's flying kick, the animal behaviours from Gooners are nothing, and should be forgiven.

If you have this kind of thoughts, then Aberdeen (I guess) is nothing, but another....Sigh.................

the way Arsenal players reacted after VanNiss' miss was very understandable and natural.

punching no... and there was none.
I'm saying I totally understand arsenal's players reaction and defend it totally.
and anyway what happened in 91 was a mass brawl ... today it was all about nothing. Had it been another game than ManU-Arse would have been closed matter by now. RVN f*ucked up his pen and he knew it was coming after from the Arse players. He sure is a good actor , can play the victim really well like when he tries to get out of the way of a stud that is already almost 2 yardsaway from

I've always had alot of respect for Arsenal until the 80th minute.

Arsenal were only just encouraging hooligonism today, Arsenal have so many young fans in london, who look up to them, they are going to think its right to hold other players by the throat(Lauren), good to do a judo chop on someones shoulders(Keown), and nice to bully and push other people around over a football game..

arsenal cheat by getting their own players sent off and leaving their team at a disadvantage in a football match, im still waiting for someone to explain the logic behind that. In this game there was a brawl, of course something that has never been seen before, and appropriate punishment will be dished out to those responsible end of story its always the case. All this talk of young fans and crap of that nature is just pure hypocritical bull****.

Simply hooligans

Arsenal think for whatever reasons, they have the rights to retaliate. Kick or punch the person who fouled you, if they're United players. That's the message sent by AW.

You can accused Ruud and the rest of United players with any reasons you like.

But you can't hide the fact that you're the losers and behaving like beasts.

Never mind, you can keep calling Ruud divers, this will only make yourself looked even worse than a loser as everybody else presents the diver gold medal to Robert Pires.

the way Arsenal players reacted after VanNiss' miss was very understandable and natural.

Why should it be understandable and natural? Perhaps men do have a natural killer instinct, but you really shouldn't tap onto that in daily life or you'll be looking at the back of a cell pretty soon.

They were nlucky to have Vieira sent off, so justice was done in the end. And RVN got what he's been deserving for a long time, a bit of banter .. coz if ever there's a cheat in english football it's him

How was it unlucky? Two bookable offence, one for kicking out. And justice was done for what? van Nistelrooy getting assaulted?

He sure is a good actor , can play the victim really well like when he tries to get out of the way of a stud that is already almost 2 yardsaway from

Yeah, like he got out of the way of the karate chop by Keown and the attacks by the Charlie Dimmock lookalike.

see nothing wrong with a little push, then a bit of taunting.

But Arsene Wenger has frequently defended Vieira's actions when he had retaliated in the past to 'he was provoked - so he shouldn't be punished'.

Well say if you were playing the top team in anysport and someone on the oposing team cheated in someway wouldnt you be ***ed off with him

There's pissed off and then there's bashing the other guy. I'm pissed off with Keown now but I have yet to go to his house and give him a new face (and he needs one as well).

personally i'd rather see a player bash another one up rather than see a cheat play his trade.

Well, Shearer has done the former and Robert has both.

did anyone see fortune run down jens?

Like the way that he took the ball away from the German's hands and then Lehmann dived it like Jeffers?

or the mutiple shoves Viera and Co got???

Multiple 'shoves', as supposed to choking Phil Neville and karate chopping van Nistelrooy. I see the similarities.
