I live in perth, western australia and i went into electronics boutique to ask for a release date for fifa 2004 on xbox and he said its confirmed to come in on the 24th Oct and ps2 was 28th Oct so fingers crossed were gettin it earlier than we thought

Only EA knows mate. There isn't actually a 110% confirmed date yet. It could be earlier, it could be later. You'll just have to wait and see.
