We now have THREE tied up front, with late comer Dfm going up a TON of spots this week.

Jackpot is up to 24 for this round, but because it's risen so high, I've decided that whoever gets the bonus gets SOME of the points(a reasonable amount to keep the championship still in balance), while the other points are given evenly to the bottom players(I WOULD let whoever got the bonus chose WHO, but since they obviously wouldn't give it to second place, we'll just make it a rule to give to the bottom people.) ALTHOUGH, the bonus points will only allow those bottom markers to catch up to the people ahead of them. I MAY consider scrapping the bonus in favor of a whoever gets the most points in a week rule. So we're going to vote on it.

I think the Bonus should either stay the way it is.. or just not have a bonus at all.. it would be unfair for the middle of the table player if the people that receive the bonus from the leader pass them..

But they wont be allowed that many points. Right now the points are nothing and if a leader gets it he'll run away with the lead and win no matter what just about. What I was thinking was just bunching up the pack pretty much, which is why I want people to vote about what they think. Honestly, I think the switching to the whoever gets the most points gets the bonus is better ATM.

About the bonus Points, My idea is to just have only like 3 or 5 bonus points available every week, with those points given to anyone who gets their predictions 100% correct. This way they would get their bonus points and the league would still remain competetive...

As it is now, if anyone near the top got the 24 points, it would pretty much leave everyone wayyy behind..

Also for the half-season predictions there will be a up to 12 points to give out at the end of the season, including an extra 5 for whoever gets the most half-season predictions correct.(now what I mean is the special edition predictions which include who will win the title, who'll get relegated, who'll be top goalscorer, etc.

why would you get a bonus for just guessing the most each week? you should get a bonus if you get all the games. is pretty unfair if you ask me

I think 4 points is way too much. I mean average points are 4-5 points per week, if youre gonna add another 4 points each week its gonna get way unbalanced soon.

You guys had plenty of time to voice your concerns over what was being done and what should be done, to get other people to join on board, and you didn't. Obviously, no one will be getting the most right every week, it's a way of giving to whoever does the best. If no one gets every game right at least once, then a whole rule is wasted on nothing, and until now the closest we've gotten is 7 points, which is still 2 away, and there's a reason for it, because every week in the Superliga there's at least one game which defies all odds, and this week it was the Maritimo game, last week it was the SCP game, and so on and so on.

I think the new bonus system is fine, 4 points isn't a big deal and it gives a small reward to whoever guesses the most right.....it can also be a big help to those lower down and help someone near the bottom climb back up and get into the race again, should they be the top predicter that week.....and the league is pretty competitive so far, we even have a new leader this week who's been around the middle of the table for most of the last few weeks, so I don't think a mere 4 points is going to unbalance anything.

I guess if everyone objects, you could always compromise and make it 2 bonus points instead of 4....but like Hugo-45-Viana said, there was the opportunity to give suggestions before.

If someone wants to join the league then just give them the points of the last placed player minus 3 or 4 points. I think thats the way to go.

I mean this is a championship so with this gay new system its possible to win with a way smaller number of correct predictions, if you have the luck to win several weeks. I do not agree with this.

Would you mind explaining how that makes sense? You have to get the MOST right to get a bonus... not the least lol.

Just the possibility of the winner of the league not being the one with the most correct results at the end, which will probably happen, makes me way angry.

Disagreeing with this system make me a sore loser? As far as you are concerned, standings say otherwise.

Well if we had no bonus points then you could have it where the person who won at the end got the most right, but there has to be a reward for doing well...

Doing well = getting the most results right, not winning a round. You trade regularity for luck with this system.

Reward = you go up in the table

Changes in the rules in the middle of a season suck, anyway I would agree more with a change for 2 or 3 pts for each right result.

Hugo-45, just scrap the bonus point system....I'd hate to see the league ruined because of a couple unhappy people.
