View Full Version : Serbian Teams
FKPartizan 24-09-2003, 12:46:PM does anyone know if there will be any Serbian teams in the game, FK Partizan, Crvena Zvezda. I know we've already discussed teams but I didn't see anything on these teams. If anyone knows it would be of great assistance.
brumbies00 24-09-2003, 12:47:PM no official team list as yet.

Probably there will be Partizan coz they are in Champions League, and hope Crvena Zvezda too, and why not all Champions League qualifying round teams :p

Maybe you might be more gentle, if you don't wanna see Serbian teams, we understand, you're from Canada. But maybe you wanna see Canada and FKPartizan won't see it. So please be gentle, it's a forum, so he asked a questions and didn't asked insults as answer.
Just a suggestion if you're a newbie, be care and don't insults everytime, you might be carded or banned.
Cheers, Cyprom.
gusgoaRM 25-09-2003, 03:58:AM the champions league, probably
Maniac 25-09-2003, 04:27:AM It would be cool to have Partizan in FIFA 2004, (not Zvezda!) or maybe Dinamo Zagreb. Those are my two favorite teams, AFTER NK Zeljeznicar (Bosnian Team). Since I KNOW , that NK Zeljeznicar doesn't have a chance to be included:( , I would like to se some other X-Yugo teams in FIFA 2004....
FKPartizan 25-09-2003, 05:42:AM it would make sense to me especially since they are in the champions league and even Zagreb came close to the group stage. they were in the game before but i don't remember which year. and especially since they always put maribor in which really isn't a great team from slovenia i think.
I would also like to see the top russian squads too, but you're right cypron they should have all the qualifying round teams.
mnogo smo jaki!;)
FKPartizan 25-09-2003, 05:43:AM p.s. how do you get the images uner you replies?
Hrvoje Bajlo 25-09-2003, 06:06:AM his name is Hrvat (which means Croat), so he isnt Canadian, he is Croatian guy, like me :D

theCRO 25-09-2003, 10:07:AM since Partizan is in the Champs league, it will probably be in FIFA2004.
FKPartizan 25-09-2003, 10:24:AM niether russian team was in the game last year even though both were in the champ. league:(
Pana8hnaikos 25-09-2003, 11:49:AM id love to see Red Star and Partizan in the game ....I would set up an all Balkan league....with Greek, Serbian and Turkish teams

You mean a "Half-Balkan" league? Because Greece, Serbia and Turky do not make the entire balkan region. How about adding Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia, Romania, Macedonia.....??? The MAIN Balkan countries with Serbia and Greece....
Anyhow, FIFA-Bosnia (Me) and FIFA-Web Portan (Hrvoje), have been planing to make the Balkan league for a long time now (two best teams from each country), so we'll see who gets there first :D (joke)
Lonestarr022 25-09-2003, 02:48:PM They should put Red Star and Partizan in the game. I don't think most people will care about any of the other teams in that country.

well, neither Turkey nor Greece are in the Balkans, so that would be a tad difficult.
I've seen dozens of people call Greece and Turkey the "balkans", its like calling Italy "bavaria" or something...
frkazo 25-09-2003, 06:11:PM Damn i really would like to see some bosnian teams in the game ::kader:
Maniac 25-09-2003, 06:18:PM frka: calm down mate, There will be ;)

This would be logical, but EA Sports never choose teams logically. Every year many champions league teams are missing in the latest FIFA :( Last year AEK Athens, Spartak Moscow and a few more teams missed in FIFA 2003 even though they played Champions league.

You're righy Lukas, but if you have a look at the .FSH files, you'll see that AEK and Spartak (as well as Lokomotiv and some more) were in plan to be in the game. Unfortunately EA was not allowed to put them because they didn't get a licence. Hope clubs will be gentle and accept EA put all teams they want :)
-William- 25-09-2003, 07:11:PM I like Balkan teams dunno why :o

Then where the **** r we?
Maniac 25-09-2003, 10:50:PM This is Balkan:
http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/europe/balkans.gif
So Yes, Greece is in Balkans and European part of Turkey is in the Balkans.
theCRO 26-09-2003, 07:22:AM where did you get that map?
Encyclopedia Britannica 2003
The Balkans,
also called Balkan Peninsula easternmost of Europe's three great southern peninsulas, comprising the countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova.
The Balkans are bordered by Italy on the northwest, Austria and Hungary on the north, Ukraine on the north and northeast, and Greece and Turkey on the south.
This was always the Balkans, while I lived there there was no mention of Turkey, or Greece....
but since they're changing it, it should start East of the Drina like it has for centuries, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia were never the "balkans" untill 1918, and again in 1945.
FKPartizan 26-09-2003, 09:54:AM any talks of a list of teams being released soon?

That was Yugoslavia, but Balkan peninsula covers also Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece.
theCRO 27-09-2003, 06:07:AM hmm...no it doesn't....read the Britannica's definition, its the standard geographical and academic definition of the countries in the Balkans...
FKPartizan 27-09-2003, 07:17:AM the balkans is where my heart is.
theCRO 27-09-2003, 09:06:AM who cares really, Croatia is not the Balkans IMO.

You're still forgetting one!!! :f***: :f***: :f***:
:(
;)
hint: the one that just qualified for Euro 2004, unlike Croatia :)
theCRO 27-09-2003, 02:22:PM ?? why provoke that way man?
Sure Bulgaria made it Euro, but had we won against Estonia on matchday 1 we would be a point behind you, and given we beat you in Zagreb (and we will) we would have won the group. We only have ourselves to blame.
We will beat you in Zagreb IMO, then the second place playoff and who knows what will happen. Either way, why provoke?
