View Full Version : Real Madrid v. Valencia [P] [R]
RoyIsALegend 27-09-2003, 03:47:AM I know this game is still over a day away, but it's probably going to be Real Madrid's biggest test of the season so far.
Raul will not be playing due to an abdominal injury suffered last week against Malaga, so Javier Portillo gets the start alongside Ronaldo. Also, Ivan Helguera's knee is acting up again and he won't be playing either. Raul Bravo will take his spot in the line-up.
Valencia will have their skipper Ayala in for this game after he agreed to a new four year contract extension earlier this week.
Considering the game is at the Mestalla and Real has had difficulties there before, along with the fact that Canizares will be in goal and Ayala is back...
...I'm going to predict a 2-1 win for Valencia over Madrid.
PSVFOREVER 27-09-2003, 04:07:AM 1-2 for Madrid, but I'll probably have predicted something very different in the prediction forum.
TottiNZidaneR#1 27-09-2003, 04:18:AM 3-1 to Real. 2 from Ronaldo and 1 from Portillo
This game is going to be a cracker. 3-2 to Real.
No idea who will score, they have to many options.
RoyIsALegend 27-09-2003, 07:14:AM Also, for anybody who gets Fox Sports World or whatever, this game *will* be televised at 8 p.m.
What a treat!

During the Arsenal - Newcastle game I was viewing today, it said the Real Madrid - Valencia game would be shown at 8 p.m. as a special. I'm sorry, I don't have a link or anything like that.
Word of mouth, my friend.
bsoccer 27-09-2003, 09:09:AM on soccertv.com it doesn't say the Madrid Valencia game will be on. Maybe its because the Arsenal Newcastle game was broadcasted from Sky sports.
shokz 27-09-2003, 10:03:AM Speaking of Sky Sports, Madrid vs Valencia live. :)

yeah that's why I asked where he got that info,
and he said it was at 8pm which is probably around 2-3pm eastern time over here which is what time the game will be on, so it's probably on sky sports
FSW has yet to show any La Liga games this season, are they still going to this year, not including friendlies that.
so there you go...
word of mouth, my friend :crazyboy:
glad i have Gol TV :D
RoyIsALegend 28-09-2003, 01:30:AM I'm sorry, you are correct. I was confused with the Sky Sports and FSW change.
Does this mean I won't be able to see the game? :(

In this match the main problem for R.Madrid was the Valencian Defense, tonight was awesome, impressive ... and real madrid stars werent able to create football.
Valencia was better so far tonight, Good Game :(
yeah valencia's defence was more of a problem for Real Madrid than their own

I Blame that sentance. :(
Well done Valencia, Ayala will be most definetly pleased.. :rockman:
dont worry about it
i have done it too(H) (H) (H)
-William- 28-09-2003, 06:27:AM Nice win by Valencia, looks like Mista is on fire right now and Oliveira is showing what his worth for..
Oliveira scored something like 20 in 25 for Santos, or near that. He's a good player and he'll prove his worth for Valencia.
IceBlu 28-09-2003, 06:48:AM see what happens when Madrid face organized teams ;) ?
yim87 28-09-2003, 06:58:AM i'll say it again:
they will get raped.
totally.:rockman:

i think you have to wait atleast 3 games to make an observation like that
1 game is not sufficient to tell;)
:kader: :kader: :f***: :f***: :kader: :kader:
yim87 28-09-2003, 07:53:AM u also can't assume that real madrid will win the La Liga and the CL hands down just like that.. Real has so far faced only medicore teams and valencia is the only organized team that they have faced and real have lost on both occasions.. If they lost to Valencia, what will happen when they face italian teams, which are the most organized sides in the wold?
shokz 28-09-2003, 08:02:AM Like I said in the "Weaker or Better" thread, wait till they play an Italian club. :rockman:, they couldnt do it last year, I don't think they'll have much joy this year either to be honest, untill they get a defence of there own, lets not turn this into a weaker/better arguement though.
Who have Madrid got next(La Liga), and when do they take on Barcelona, I want to see what Ronaldinho Gaucho can do versus Madrid.
Voltaic Borusse 28-09-2003, 08:08:AM Madrid will play Espanyol next week. That should take a little bit of pressure off of their backs. Madrid/Barca. game is on November 7.

No, what??
and cool the normal stupid ass punk retort. Just tell us why you think it's such a big deal for a team to lose away to a decent team, and then tell us if Juve loses 2-0 away from home if that also means they have a problem facing organised teams.

or howbout i don't cool the normal punkass retort and YOU go f*ck yourself instead ?
you are one annoying bastard.
Im talkin to Madrid fans here and you can go play with yourself...
All i am stating is that Madrid concede every game they play in.

antithesis 28-09-2003, 08:30:AM just as I thought, you aint got any sensible **** to say.

IceBlu 28-09-2003, 08:33:AM yes i did :| I SAID Madrid Concede goals every time play :|....if that doesn't make sense to you then i don;t know what will...
JeffBoy15 28-09-2003, 09:07:AM Ugh... idiots...
Anyways about things that matter, anyone have any word on Pablo Aimar's condition, i heard he went limping off the feild. Anything serious?
northstar 28-09-2003, 04:48:PM Valencia tore Madrid a new one. It was all Valencia in this match. Aimar showed up all the stars on RM even though he had to leave early because of the injury.
Madrid has A LOT of work to do if they expect to beat and good teams in the CL.
