As for a player, then I bought this guy and he made his debut at home to Camberley. We got hammered 4-0 with Albin being the main culprit. :kader: Played not bad apart from that, just less scoring chances and a lack of luck. My reject team managed to just lose 2-1 at their stadium. Amazing how well my rubbish team do against the best...

I bought a 5-ball keeper for 1 000 000 SEK on the 13th of June 2003, he's now on 7 and going for his 8th. That about 15 weeks ago so if that apply to your goalkeeper as well he should gain 2 balls this season :)

Gamble is definately worth it, just challenged all the prem teams twice, as well as MK and a few games with Chris.

IMO, u got supremely ripped-off. He has 5 balls in ball control which I don't rate much, and 4 in stamina which I don't rate much either :rolleyes: My youths are better. :rolleyes:

After making almost £1m from selling some players, I've now spent almost £1m by purchasing a striker.

My second major transfer this season, he should help with the team's goalscoring problems. I'm hoping he hasn't maxed in shooting but he's still one better in that skill than my other forwards, if he can get eight or even nine I'd be delighted.

Hopefully LCDC will be scoring more and making the most of 18 chances in the league instead of only scoring two of those. :)

Oh, and it means after a short absence, AFC Swish's old player is now back in the EPL for at least one more season...

i can't even see the trasnfer list at the moment :(

You might have to go a whole day without buying someone. :o ;)

2) Remus Ciolac (9081831) - Romanian
Should arrive tomorrow afternoon. Bought for 168 093 GBP. Worth 219 893 GBP. 7 ball tackling, 4 speed, no stamina but only 23. Bit of a bargain me thinks.

With these two should have combined first team of around 2.3 million. Not bad for division 4 :) Now just need a decent goalie...

He is from a brand new club so he probably has a lot of partial balls. 750k Euro is the most i ever paid, but all youngsters go for crazy prices so i think i had a nice deal. Train on play int, then ball ctrl and shooting and / or tackling... fast player and good stamina, with those stats you could train him to any position... possibly defence if he maxes out early-ish in shooting but if not then he could be a striker, midfielder or defender!

Yeah, that was my biggest concern too, but with a lot of luck this is a player that could reach 10 balls in shooting, speed and ball control within his lifetime.

He was also in my list and i was even already bidding on him with his first transfer, but didn't have enough money at that time. I prefer such players above the big shooter strikers most people buy. 800k + is expensive for a 23 old player though, so i was out again.

Opinions please.... Do you think I over payed by A LOT? You have to consider that the U.S. market sucks, and its impossible to get a decent player under 500k.

My plan is to train his speed, hopefully he already has quarter of a ball or something :p Then i'll do cross balls.

Never fear. Got a defender I wanted (can work on Ball Control and Stamina before the end of the season). Also a reasonable midfielder, can work on his ball control as well. Dunno about you but his value seems very underrated in my opinion.

I'd say ball ctrl and tackling for the second one, that's not a bad deal tbh, he will get 1-2 balls in each of those stats over the next 15 weeks and be pretty good then. :p

hey i bought this player today. it's pretty hard to find any decently priced aussie players that don't get snapped up by the swedes. he's got an SC rating of 5.55 so he's good enough to get into the crap aussie national team.

Bit of ball control here, bit of heading there and he could be an Aussie legend ;)

yeah, good player, as ponte said, build him a couple of balls in ball control. Duno bout heading tho, i'd go for speed or shooting myself ;)

yes, he is old, and yes, i did pay quite a bit for him. 400k in fact. but decent midfielders are so hard to find nowadays, and so this one caught my eye. 5 speed, 5 stamina, 5 ball control, 5 tackling, 4 intelligence, 4 passing, 4 shooting. Lovely jubbly! should be a key player next season :p fits right into my team.

Six ball tackler..and hopefully he still trains in tackling and B.C. also, hes got room for training in passing, heading, P.I, and maybe speed.

Now i have 2 6ball tacklers, 1 7ball tackler, and about 3 5ball tacklers. and a couple of those 5ballers are going for their 6th!

Well I sent him my two cents and he replied as if he was innocent. Maybe when he said to you that he was still on the training list, he meant that he hadnt maxed out in the new skill he was training in.

Anyway, I will train on speed and ball ctrl, maybe play int as well. But I will need to see if he can get to 9 shooting.

I got this guy a while back (only just got the internet back) ... paid 500k GBP for him. Bit over the odds, but he's not yet maxed in tackling, and if he gets another ball there he'll be in the English Reserve side - currently 5.5 SC for defense.

And I'm gonna have ~1M GP in a min. Looking at a few 10-ball Swedish strikers :)

just bought this new striker. not a bad price i thought, considering Chris paid over £1million for his striker. :p Gonna train him up in speed, intelligence and ball control, then probably sell him because of his age. But he's still decent for a few seasons. :)

I know I paid a lot, but he's better and already been very influential for my team, even scored a hattrick past Oliver Kahn. :hump:

Anyway, not bad, check to see if he's maxed in shooting or not first. :p

I have a player called Kerry Collingsworth if you would like to pay 500k to have the set ;) Collingsworth in my team is one of the losers you get from the start though in the past two seasons I have been training him in keeping and he has gained 4 balls so far...still learning. Only goalkeeper I have who has not maxed out at 5 yet. Ball number 6 sometime next season. :) I'm glad that I hung onto some of my rubbish players

And in the end it got upto this. 851k, new record signing.

I reckon he's worth it. Only English 10-ball tackler around I believe :)

saw him, nice buy :) needs training up in stamina and p.i. though. surprised his value isnt over 400k, with tackling and shooting that high.

He went on a cup run - several games at full attendance (both home and away receiving half the ticket income each, home also gets facility income) also got prize money and sold some players.

Pity you don't earn interest on your money. I had quite a lot knocking around for about a month before I got this guy. And most of the money came from the selling players, no the cup run.

I had a similar problem this evening. I was bidding, but the cache was not updating and telling me I was the highest bidder. I logged out, logged back in, and was one minute late. I had won however, but it wasn't a very nice experience seeing as I had ditched several players in favour of this one.

It can be between two to five days. However there are some lazy sods who want to rest the whole season. Just don't play him this week in friendly matches.

I'm thinking with what the new simulator is looking like, this guy will slot perfectly into the attacking midfield position. PIty I spent 450k on him though, but he has pushed the first eleven value upto 3 million GBP.

definitely needs stamina, play intell. and tackling training... to be honest, i reckon you wasted a foreign spot on him. You could have saved up and bought a much better foreign player...

I know it doesnt sound like much but I really need someone that can score goals as at the moment I only have 1 striker that can actually score. The other 2 just make up the numbers. Also the player I brought is an aussie and it only cost me 80,000 AUD.

I bought a defensive backup for about 7k over his value. Even at 26 he can still do a good job, and by the time he starts deteriorating, my young defender should be as good as him and still have a few years before he gets to 26.

Yeah, that's what I'll be training him on. Unless the theory of him not being maxed out on shooting is right... His owner created a team on the 15th january 2004, meaning he's new, meaning he might not be maxed in shooting! :D

Also made a very nice profit off selling a player. Bought him for £22 927, sold him for £152 995, 26k taken out of profits. As you can see in the following pic... he sucks! :D Plus he's not 24 anymore, he's 25

I agree with RP, train him on BC and you could have a very good striker on your hands there Rami.

That's what I told him, train bctrl, p.int, bctrl and then all the main stats are on 4 or 5, and shooting 7 or 8 if poss. :p

The English market is silly. I got a 22 year old Swedish 9 ball shooter, 4 speed, but only 2 BC for 400k a couple of months ago. He could be easily as good as that Urban chap by next season.
