I'd sure hate this to happen, but what do you think will come of EA if this game is total crap? :confused:

I think they'll just loose total respect and faith and with PES3 coming to the PC, they will loose for good.

That's my opinion if FIFA 2004 is rubbish or only a bit better then 2003.

hey mate, let's have hope n let's see the bright side. but if the game's crap I'll never ever buy any FIFa game n I'll be a PES fan forever cuz I think they respect their fans.anyways let's hope for fifa n a gr8 game!!!

Yer true dood if it is a crap game ea have lost it for the last time and i dont think they can come back after the release of PES3 on pc.

EA will perform this year, as anticipated by myself, earlier this year in these forums. ppl doubted my opinions and judgement, but every year EA produce a good game, even tho they do create probs, there fault entirely.

having the licenses is a big advantage and the graphics is second to none compared to the competition.

im sure that this game will be great, with all the new features and improved gameplay

but IMO i don´t trust EA, they already start broken promises with the weather so i don´t expect mutch from gameplay.

i dont no about you guys, but buying FIFA every year is a richual for me.

each year they improve. they wont release a "perfect" game for everyone in one year, as they make there money by doing improvements each year and releasing a new title, which to be honest i dont mind. as long as it is better then the previous year, which it always is, is good for me :)

this years improvements are looking top dollar! who cares if there aint no weather effects this year, the new lighting looks cool (the sun, etc), theres always hope for next year :)

Yeap! i always had that thought too! i've only hope that there wont be any bugs like the heading last year! because thats a natural thing about gameplay! so with just a good but not perfect gameplay, then im satisfied :hump:

Nope your wrong man it wasn't me! i've never played PES because i dont have a pls 2 or 1, but im definitely give it a try when it comes on PC! but ive never said that i wont buy the game. But bout weather i've maybe been angry at first, i cant remember that, but i wasen't talkin bout that ehh ;)

the problem of fifa is gameplay and bugs like super goals from midfield super headers, bicycle kick always score and more, and more...
so expect more of it in fifa2004.

the weather is bad but its just a detail compare to gameplay

You cant header in 2003 (other then auto crossing in the box) so how can you say you can score from midfield with a header?

Looking at the gameplay vids, it can be seen that you can now header, and the CPU actually plays long balls on free kicks, unlike 2003 where they simply played a short pass! which was annoying.

Gameplay Looks much improved from 2003 !!! IMO

i think Breamster is right at all what he posted in this thread, i personaly think that OTB control will be a bit complicated, but if the gameplay will be good, damn! i'll learn that OTB control, why it seems so complocated (OTB) :confused:

Yes, year after year EA improve game, but it is damn slow! Building graphics will not take any good effect, because, look at PES and look at for sample : kits at PES 3, who care about original kits?? WE WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was talking about bugs in history of fifa series (wc fifa, fifa2002 and fifa2003)

But good graphics does make a game too.

Without authentic kits, stadia, faces, etc it wouldnt be good.

when did they say weather would be in it any way? got any literature available with it in?

The official news says: "no dynamic weather". It means that the weather won't change during the match. But there will be different weather modes, but the same weather will remain for all the match.

there is NO weather. there is overcast/sunny, day/night. there is no rain or snow. in otherwords NO weather. the official news stated this on the fifa community site.

history till now:

1 - great feature dynamic weather (change weather during game)
2 - EA annonces that they have trouble with the dynamic weather.
3 - SHOCK Ea annonces no dynamic weather and no weather (rain and snow)

have to say that no matter how bad Fifa 2004 is, it will never drive me to start playing PES. They are so demoralisingly bad it makes you want to cry.

they may not have dynamic weather but they do have rain..... they had rain last year so its got to be on there.

Anyone hwo say that Fifa2004 ganeplay have improved just a little and is very similar to 2003, is someone that dont want o accpt the reality, and supports blidnly the Weleven series.

To tell you the truth... there is a BIG difference in the way the ball and the players moves. With the new features, it will surely will be good.

Have better gameplay is a big feature, but having the licenses and good graphics too. Last year WE destroyed fifa with its gameplay, but this year fifa have improved a lot, and im very sure it will not be an easy battle.

I don't realy care about the gamplay so much. The only reason I quit playing FIFA 2003 was due to many buggs, which EA didn't bother to fix. FIFA-editing is a superb hobby, and we all like it no mather how good\bad the gameplay is. So I think that FIFA 2004 will bring new joy to all FIFA fans, no doubt.

The feature I am most looking forward to is the Career Mode, sound very intresting, kinda like a mini-manager :)

sorry to tell you this, there is no rain. the only weather, if you can call it weather, is overcast and sunny. no rain.

ok guys stop it, we've talked bout that goddam wheather hours n hours but EA will not change anythin, let's talk bout some more usefull stuffs. Gameplay's what matters now.let's go !!!1(H)
