I THINK THAT THE GAMES BETWEEN GERMANY AND ENGLAND WERE ALWAYS THE BEST. THE 1966 WAS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE CENTURY. MY FAVORITE THOUGH, WAS ENGLAND-GERMANY IN 1996. THERE WAS EVERYTHING A SOCCER GAME SHOULD HAVE. GOALS. GERMAN SCORES A GOLDEN GOAL BUT THE REF DIDN'T WANNA COUNT IT. THEN IN EXTRA TIME, GAZA TWO TIMES SLIDING, 2cm MORE AND HE WOULD HAVE SCORED THE GOLDEN GOAL. THEN, ENGLAND HITS THE POST AND AFTER THAT THE PENALTY SHOOTOUT. I THINK THAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST DRAMATIC GAMES IN HISTORY.
WHAT DO YOU THINK WERE THE BEST GAMES?
Arsenal 1-2 Manutd
The Epic no doubt about it.

shocking will happen and it did.

I have to agree with the England and Germanys!
1. England-Germany Euro 96
2. England-Argentina WC 98
3. Manchester United-Bayern Munchen CL 99
4. England-Germany WC 90 (this one bring tears, we outplayed them for 120 minutes and have nothing to show)
5. England-West Germany WC 66(before my time but I got it on tape and see it on TV sometimes)
6. Manchester United-Arsenal FA Cup 1/2 final replay( would have ranked higher if it wasn't for that diving piece of crap Overmars getting Keano sent off!
This is my list, obviously one sided but growing up in here does that to you, you don't see much else than whats on ITV and Sky

I have to agree with you about England-Germany in 96. It is one of the best games I ever saw. I still have it on tape.
Of the English games that I saw one that sticks in my mind that you didnt mention is the Cameroon - England in 90, though too bad it had to be won on 2 penalties, I hate seeing games decided by penalty decisions...
