My mate Charles Pearson has found a way to take second division teams that have been included in FIFA 2000 and move them to their respective first divisions with full commentary! He just swaps teams, meaning a current first division team will get "relegated."

What's this mean? Well, you will now be able to do everything to that team (play, edit, etc...) that you are able to do to the current first division teams, but are unable to do to all the second division squads.

The first patch we have is replacing Bradford City in the Premiership with Birmingham City. You can download it at www.soccergaming.com. If you like this, there will be more to follow.

Remember, this is a dbi file, they are sensative files, so make sure you visit the Readme included in the download.

On another note, take a look at the current second division teams posted in the headlines at Soccer Gaming, then cast your vote for the team you'd most like to see added to it's first division in FIFA 2000.

You can do that by replying to this topic below.

Please do not expect to have a patch made to your respones at once. Mr. Pearson is a very busy person, he has a country to run. This will give him a guideline as to the ones he may want to do first. Thanks, Ric

It seems that we begin to see some first league teams with whom we can play. I'd like to play the french second division team from LILLE (LOSC). They're actually ranked #1 with 12 points in advance to the second one. I can not expect to play FIFA 2001 to see my favorite team on the game....

Just because I like them and I still think that last year relegation was due to bad coaching/management...

Regarding the fact that there are over 60 hidden teams, I think Charles should be so kind to write a tutorial to allow us to change the teams the way we want. Would also save him lots of time.

How about promoting the San Francisco Bay Seals from the A-League (USA's Division 2) up to MLS (USA's Division 1)?

What happens if you play in the first division and there are only five teams there including yourself. Thats a bit stupid ain't it. Not that I would get relegated but it would be good playing in the 1st division leagues.

I'd like to know how to edit Teams in secind div. For examlple, I made a patch for Russian League (overwrited Greece) and when I play the season I alwas get Greece teams from the second division promoted to First Russian, That sux.
Why don't you post the instruction how to do that?

Please, please, please tell me how to promote Ipswich from DIV1 to PREM. I have tried customizing Bradford City but the heights are all messed up, and without the commentry it's not the same.

I just heard recently that the San Francisco Bay Seals of the A-League (U.S. Division 2) will be renamed the Bay Area Seals, and they may or may not move to Hayward, California.

The move is just a rumor (it may or may not happen), but the name change is happening for sure.
