View Full Version : I'm doubt about Fifa04
eddy_87 03-10-2003, 04:01:PM My question here is, do fifa04 game requires dX9.0? I'm not sure bout that but I think the asnwer is YES. If that's right, maybe I'll have some problems....:( I bought couples of gmes that are new such as Madden04 and many others that need dX9.0.
Now, my problem is, when i'm isntalling the dX9.0, an error said that something is not right bout my window logo....(i don't really understand this actually) and the installation failed!!!!
If this is going to happen in fifa04, I'm dead:(

[[made_of_pain] 03-10-2003, 04:34:PM I'm almost sure it will...
directx is essencial to run some parts of some new games codes...
being so, I'm almost sure you'll need directx 9.0

eddy_87 03-10-2003, 07:03:PM this error appears....
AcillateM 03-10-2003, 07:37:PM wierd is your windows from warez?
Frommelgoal 03-10-2003, 07:43:PM On my previous machine Windows would get weird once every few months because of chipset instability. One problem was that sometimes it wouldn't recognize the signature on official Windows XP driver software. You seem to have the same problem here. A clean new install would fix my problems temporarily (since I had deeper rooted hardware problems).
I expect you will not have any problems anymore if you'd do a fresh format&install. Sure. it's a lot of work, but I think it'll be worth it.
eddy_87 03-10-2003, 08:10:PM reformat my pc......
errr......i've got thousand of data saved in my pc and worst, i don't have cd burner.....but if this error appears too for fifa04, i might sacrifies....;)
