Please EA dont make another pinball game, why people dont like Fifa gameplay? its boring because its not real! we want simulators not crap.

Based on the videos the game still too fast!!!! , can someone explain to me why at older fifa versions you can only pick :

Speed = normal, fast , faster, ultra fast , mega fast , instane!!!!! WTF please

I am really hopeing that fifa 2004 has speed option disabled, in fact no speed configuration! make the default game as the real thing, if your programmers dont know what football is go to a damn field and record all the necesary data.

That no matter what will give you the best gameplay, the real one! if its boring for you that means you dont know what football is about and you probably call it SOCCER! bah

Arcade folks can go play ISS , anyway fifa is going arcade again so we gotta go for WE7 right?

At least we have a choice :)

its a coincidence u posted that MEX,, i was watching the IGN videos today, and yes, i too noticed that it seemed a tad bit on the fast side (like fifa 2003). WE's speed is more realistic. Danny Isaac sed EA played WE to get sum ideas.
i hope in the final version of the game the speed will be more realistic.

Hoping that the SLOW mode is slow enough to see the ball flyin in the air at 400km/s and bounce at the same speed ;)

But for real guys, hope the demo is out soon to prove hopefully that i am wrong

Its around at this board, feature called "Slow motion" , you press something like R1 and the game will be in a slower pace to have time to think about a pass or move

Doesnt sounds too bad but we really dont need that ****, the key is the gameplay and not more unreal features lol :D

Valioso knows all the features. He will say if this true or if you where just plainly bashing the game with made up facts. I search Slow motion and all I got was recain complaining about slow mo celebrations.

TIPS:
- Slow the game down by pressing the R2 button, giving you more time to use the L2 button and send players on runs.

I dont think that it would be possible (i hope not).

That bullet time thing is not realistic!. The point is ot make the game hader to master, in that way when we master that move we will be the best.

But i dont want some "Neos" in the game.

Holy crap they better do that right. I know its not bullet time cause that its just stupid and I haven't seen a video of gameplay going that slow like in Max Payne.

Thats what i was talking about, EA sports takes it all wrong, when people said we want a better gameplay they thinking in other thing.

Maybe we can be more specific, but we havent already? lol

Anyway about the slow motion its not like maxpayne but can be close to it cos it will actually slow the game a few secs so you think the play and have time to choice , and thats ofcourse far away of the gameplay we want!

BTW analized the rest of the fifa 2004 videos from IGN and noticed that they were recorded at fifa default speed so started measuring ball speed and bounce

THE BAD :
- Pass travel speed was too high and players can receive the ball without a problem when the pass was strong, in real life the ball will bounce high even up to your chest or bounce away from you depending how strong it was.
- Shoots are a bit slower than fifa 2003 but still too damn fast, really it seems that if the ball hits goalkeeper face it will kill him lol please EA no more bullets , better the real thing! ( it remembers me when they added fire to the ball, what is in their heads poor fools )

THE GOOD :
- Lobs now travel at lower altitude but still a bit fast, not as in fifa 2003 when you tried a short lob the ball gets a tremendous altitude.
- Gravity of the ball seems better than in fifa 2003 but still too heavy.

I know that the physics settings can be fixed editing the ini.big but will be better if EA do it for us , since at most online tourneys the default ini.big must be used.

Player movements seem top noch , if they fix enviroment physics it will kick WE ass ! :D

Well people where saying how long a nd hard using the Off the ball system is. Ea tought maybe they should even it up. I rather have a difficult game than a frustruating one.
