Has anyone ever went to another country to watch there football team? How was the trip?

Im thinking about going to Amsterdam for a couple of days sometime in the future to watch a Erdi and a CL home game. The deals at Ajax.nl seem alright but im not sure i just want to go for 3 days, so ill ask a few buddys of mine who have been to Amsterdam a lot of times if there is a better way to go.

The one good thing about the trips at Ajax.nl, is that if you can get home tickets for sold out matchs like PSV, Feyenoord, or AC Milan. All that other crap i can do without

I saw a match from Barcelona youth team when I went there:crazyboy: . I almost had tickets for Genk-Real Madrid last year, but I couldn't go there that date:(

yeah I've been To Newcastle a few times to see a game at St James Park...

but also went down to Montpellier a few years back to France vs England. :rockman:

if its a team you love you're guaranteed a great day out really. (unless they lose 6-0 or smthg)

I'm going to the Euro 2004 semi-final in Oporto next year, and hopefully at the end of next year or the year after that I might be able to buy some tickets for a Manchester United match, though apparently you have to be a club member to buy tickets.
