Hi folks,
Maybe everyone already knows this, but I didn't so I'm going to post it anyway. I found an easy way to score on free kicks. (on World Class, I haven't tried it on the other levels, but if it works on WC, I'd think it should work "better" on the others.)
You need a spot that's fairly close to the 18yd box, maybe out to about 25yds works depending on your kicker. (Liverpool's Redknapp works, your mileage may vary if your kicker isn't as good as Redders.)
Don't adjust the aim or the height. It should look like you are about to kick directly into the wall. Add full spin, towards the keeper. (usually, left spin if you are to the right of the goal, right spin if you are to the left.) You want the ball to curl into the keeper. Kick full strength. For me, it goes in about 90% of the time.
