By playing FIFA2000 for the first time I could see only graphical improvements.
No advantge of the defending players nor goalies - too many goals again. How long are we going to wait for the game with real scores at the end. I don't enjoy soccer with 10 to 15 goals a game in a game of 4 min a half. GOALKEEPER IS TOO WEAK AGAIN.
It is also too easy to make a break with the perfect through passes. Situations one on one 10 times a half. In fifa99 it was possible only when opposing team played extremely offensive - even then a goalie stood a much better chance to save.
I'm not very impressed after all. Agree?

If you download the patch that alters all the players speed with -3 points, and then increase all goalkeepers speed with 3 points, at least it will be a bit more difficult to score...

where did u get that patch

What kind of sulution is that? most players already have 4 or 5 speed so what you will have them all going on 1?

Maybe the thing to do is to inrease everyones tackling by 1?

I agree defense does seem too easy though i only played few games. I played Brasil-Agentina on cpu only and the result for ten minute half game world class was 5-4 with both teams taking more than 20 shots on goal. I think if you play 8 minute half you might get more realistic results, which makes this game similar in performance to World Cup 98.

Graphical improvement? U kidding me?
What improvement? It's a total disaster....
All those skinny players...worse than ever stadiums and grounds......
Man, I returned it right after I palyed a game.....FIFA99 is a lot better than 2000...

If you use Singapore to play and don't use ALT ,it will not be that easy .I dont like using teams as Brazil,Holland,Italia ....So, try it if you dare ,heheh

I don't agree on that you call "graphical improvements" I think that the game losses on almost all importend things from fifa 99.
Like the special movements, In Fifa2k you can only make 4 movements instead of6 or 7 from fifa99. The comentary is Bad, the teams ar not updated at all, a lot of players are not in the game at all. I don't understand why the make such a bad game. They losing there good name this way...

Ok, Let's me make clear, If you are using 1024x768 to play the game, Sure you will find out have 'graphics improvement'. If you are using 640x480 to play the game, the game's graphics is really awful.... I can tell you all that when EA definately create this game just for high resolution PC only.....And for the low resolution PC ...Please eat yourself !!!

BBB if the game is too easy stop playing against Croatia.
