i was thinking of not getting it but this year the game looks as realistic as ever and the franchise mode is more madden like.

theyre 2 very different games, if u like high flying dunks and crazy moves and arcade play then nba street is the way to go, but nba live is more realistim sumulation basketball if u like that then the the game is pretty much like thar, but if u like streetball style u prolly wont like nba live

yeah.. but i just like playin basketball, to me it doesn't matter whether it is arcade play or realism simulation as long it is a very good game.... the reson i bought nba street vol 2 is coz it was da best basketball game

IMO this years nba live is the best out, it might be even better than NBA 2k4so the game is madden-like (which is a really good thing)

i wont buy it tho my stepmom will end up getting it for my little brothers but i wont play i cant play basketball vid games and i dont wanna learn i only play soccer video games tho. And nba street volume 2 was ok wasnt really that great, kinda boring, even tho it was a street game it was kinda childish to me and i didnt even do the moves in the game i just ran down court and shoot it was too easy:kader: some moves were cool but more look the same just done a bit differently but not really a big dif. So they all looked the same to me. I think that freestyle street soccer will be better cuz they curse and fight and i heard you can use the objects on the field to hit the players but you lose your trick points but it sounds more fun than nba street

i thought about getting it but their are alot of good games coming out all about now .. and its about number 5 on my priority list .. so maybe next year

I heard its a major improvement in terms of gameplay and such, which is what i hoped for. Should be a good game overall

I only want this game for the franchise mode :p

i didnt order it from the internet either, i preordered the gamne fromn my local gamestop store but i get it tomorrow :mrpimp:

I just got the game and i think its great!!!!!
ok the speed of the game is alot slower, theres alot of bumping and u cant really survive without calling plays, my first two games i got my ass handed to me by more than 20 points :p , but once i got the hang of it i love the way it plays, theres no more spin,spin, dunk type of stuff, now its like u gotta outsmart the defender in order to get to the basket, to the people that loved live 2003 cuz of the speed and the freedom, yall prolly wont like this game because it is as realistic as can be, it takes alot of getting used to but its really fun, ive only played one online game so far but i heard that theres a one-on-one mode which alot of people say is really cool, ill comeback with more details later.

I do. When I was u18 I played for a local team, I was a very good talent .(playmaker) but I have a small problem.... I'm only 1.71cm tall

A "small" problem, indeed. I tried to play basketball a couple of times, with some mates, but I can't even make free throws. :S

BTW, I heard that the pc version was delayed till the 3rd, is that correct?

i am the smallest in my basketball school team...i dont know my height, i never bother to measure it, i only measure my weight

nah, im a hard weight gainer, im stuck in 168 pounds and im 6'2 for like the past two years so im not even close to fat

basketball's awesome... fun sport to play and watch :D ive been playing on my HS team since freshman year, im 6'4" and il hit anything except 3s... i miss the damn backboard on those they gotta make them things bigger :D

yeah i play too i am 194cm but i am a more defensive type player rebounds , blocks assists ... socre about 6-10 points most games but not an offensive player ... i can dunk it with an open run to the basket though

You should get this game because it Best Basketball game out there. The only thing that is bad is Fvked player RATING AND GAMES TOO FAST

Well the Charlotte Bobcats is basically an empty team, just create players and put em in there :)

i got the game since it came out........i can say that i like it alot though i dont play it as often as i did before........online was really cool t 1st but the cheating gets old after a while.....the franchise mode is ok but cant compare to madden but its not as bad as lat years.....the game play imo is the most realistic ive played so i think the game is worth it

i played the game a lot since it came out, i dont have it a friend of mine who lives in ma neighborhood does and ive played him we hav live tourneys here almost every weekend we gather up bout 6-7 ppl and we each put $5 in and the winner takes all ive won once :rockman: i always get to the final and lose horribly this prolly becas i cannot beat this guy he is just flawless wit the lakers, by the way ma team is the kings :mrpimp: .

ps: i play bball in real life, PG but sometimes i can be really off with my shot and sometimes really on i dont hav an in between day.

I play B-ball in my real life too. member of my school b-ball team tho I can only rebound and steal(can't dribble properly and shoots ok but not perfect)
Anyway isn't there a demo for this game too in Ea sports web?? not sure but totsata you really should buy this game...its not **** like fifa 2004
