Well , it`s somehow offtopic, but there seems to be no forum for FAPM, and it`s mainly about it.
EA seem to have mistaken again. They probably thought , that if there is a 3D engine , nobody will play CM , which doesn`t have. But, yes , there is a 3D engine , but there aren`t some important options , which make me choose CM . I haven`t seen any traces of the board - noone told me what is expected from me. There is no reserve team to play, no scout assigments to the region, EAmail is really stupid . 3D engine needs much enhancements too. highlight mode is a joke.Why did they need commentators? And the main thing- interface. It`s beautiful, but very much non-user-friendly.When I played the CM99/00 demo I understood what`s where after 3 minutes. Here I can`t find some things after 2 days. Tactics - you can tell a man to
push forward, or back , but left/right runs are absent - I can`t tell central midfield to backup the wing , who pushes forward - that`s stupid , in CM you can move him to where you want.In CM I can see the effect of the tactic changes even though I don`t really 'see', what`s on the field . In FAPM , I 'see' it, but I can`t see the effect of my moves. And when I change tactics in-match , I`m not given a picture of players location , which is really stupid.
So, I play CM99/00 demo , although it`s only half-season. And the main conclusion is that the correct and up-to-date rosters and extremely flexible tactical part mean MUCH more, than the most beautiful interface and 3D engine.
