It is not to fast on normal speed, but especially once you choose professional, it is terrible since all they do to improve the play is have the opposition run faster than normal.
Here are some other things that I liked and disliked:

--The annoncers hardly ever call out the players names or numbers for that matter
--The US commentary is not as bad as I thought it was going to be but it is still ok
--I love the cut off scenes in 99 not enough in 2k they took most out
--They don't have much variety as far as celebrations go (adds to the realism)
--still do not have a lot of crowd chants or songs, I think they need more it adds to the realism
--The amount of words they say are still not that much
--and I have found some bugs in the game (ex. ways of scoring with the same play over and over agian in a single game)

And I have not really been that much upset about it but I know quite a few people miss the In-game strategies (through ball).

Over all the game gets a B+ to A- by itself but as far as an improvement from 99 I am not sure I have not fully played 99 yet.
