Perhaps its the fact that Im using a keyboard - but Im finding the shot/cross system to be absolutly dire.

For shots,the bar charges fully in under a second, and all my shots whizz off wide. So I decided to try a one-touch shot from a through ball,which I most often score off in fifa2003. When I did so, a bar didnt even bloody appear, and the ball went flying off wide. I really hope this is due to the lack of a gamepad. Also, the good shooting system that was used in fifa2003 seems to have changed to the ISS2 system, which I despise with a passion. But meh, perhaps thats just me.

Crosses. In fifa2003, I'd run up along the wing, hold down the cross button, wait for it to get about halfway or so full, and leave go. The player would kick the ball towards the goal while on a run forward by getting his leg around it,and I'd try steer it goalwords. In fifa2004, you run up the wing, barely tap the cross button, and you fire a full force cannon of a shot into the crowd, which would kill any poor person that stands in the way of it. Once again,I really really REALLY hope this is due to my lack of a gamepad, or that Im doing something wrong. Really.

I have a pad and it happens also lol its just cos the gameplay its bad...

No it isn't, its because you dont know what you are doing.

To cross properly you can do three things:

1. Send a player on a run then cross
2. Use OTB and pick which player you want to cross to (works best)
3. Hold the low shot button while sending the cross. The cross will then be sent at a lower height.

1. I never have those problems... can hit slower shots as well as cannons into the top corner. Also hit some beautiful crosses with the A button.
2. There's a low shot button? :D Which one is it? :/

sigh...i need a game pad...:(

maybe the farther away from the net the more power it goes by its self, cuz in real life, you gonna try to get more power from distance. when closer it goes up slower, think about playing real life and adapter your self like that in the game

how do u use OTB wit keyboard

Can someone tell how to use OTB with Keyoboard plzz... like i press Z and these 1,2,3 numbers on each player then wat the hell do i do????
