Is anyone else getting loads of crackle on their demo game ?

I've checked with other app's and it only seems to be this that is playing up....

Bingo !

SB Audigy also.... with a 5.1 speaker set up - which I've unhooked and re-hooked to make sure all the connections are good and tight - and tested in other programs and games.

The crackle isn't limited to just occurring during the Fifa 2004 match itself. Initially I had wondered if I was being really picky and it's SUPPOSED to be close-range applause - but it persists during the Kings of Leon song.....hmm - and it's also evident when I switch to headphones.

Perhaps we just need to update our sound card drivers. I have never done that on the machine I've put this demo on - so mine must be - yowp..... about 7 months out of date.

NHL 2004 demo and retail did work with my SB Audigy Platinum, but I had to update to the most current drivers for my sound to work in the Fifa2004 PC Demo.

thanks for that XP, the driver update fixed the problem, never really gave updating sound another thought, as sound is sound
