View Full Version : WHY ENGLAND WILL RIP SCOTLAND TO SHREADS
juppal10z 04-11-1999, 04:28:PM Okay if you are actually thinking that Scotland stands a chance against England, maybe you should give up your sorry pride and wake up.
England could probably be Scotland with an under 23 side of Lampard, Dyer, Owen, Ferdinand and Cole.
But when you factor in Shearer, Owen, Beckham and Scholes. Not to mention the Ruthless leadership of Ince and Adams it's clear that this will be no contest.
First leg England 1 Scotland 0
Shearer
Second leg England 4 Scotland 0
Shearer Owen Beckham Scholes
Aggregate England 5 Scotland 0
WHY ENGLAND WILL RIP SCOTLAND to shreds is exactly the sort of comment that will ensure England doesnt. England havent won any major sporting team title in years. They think they are a lot better than they really are. How many English players would be good enough to compete in Italy?. Most of the best players in the premier league are foreigners. Scotland may not be a great team but the harsh truth is, neither are England. Its still going to be a great couple of games though

Jambo 04-11-1999, 07:42:PM Nah, I agree with juppal, ENGLAND will win but we can't be too confident. We have the second leg at home so that's an advantage. I am slightly bias as I'm from England but they will be the best in the end
BelfastBoy 04-11-1999, 07:54:PM Think again, Scholes is playing, he has decided to put off his surgery untill the begining of December. He'll do what he did against Poland at Wembley all over again and we'll be at Euro 2000.
kickslo 04-11-1999, 08:05:PM If Scotland plays as good as in the World Cup against Brazil, then England wont see any European Championship.
Scotland in two games will surely win.
GO GO SCOTLAND !!!!!
juppal10z 04-11-1999, 09:13:PM Okay, first im not english i dont even live in Europe I live in North America. Im being totally realistic. The Scotish players are not in the same class as their English counter parts.
Beckham will definitely be in the top 3 players of the year. Maybe a close second to Rivaldo.
Owen is the most promising striker in the United Kingdom.
Shearer still great and could with Owen seriously embarress the Scotish defense!
Then there are players like Sol Campbell and Paul Scholes that are wanted by major clubs such as Madrid, Inter etc.
So trust me when I say that England is far superior to Scotland.
They will find their best game when it matters now!
England 5 Scotland 0.
Juppal10z remeber this name Mark Burchill
You heard it here first
Mike
AJAX supporter 04-11-1999, 11:19:PM England will surely win at home, but by a small margin only prpbably eg 2-1, and in Scotland it'll probably be a draw, Scotland does not lose that many matches at home.
Oh Flower of Scotland...............
Jim Beam 04-11-1999, 11:46:PM Whats someone with the name Belfastboy doing supporting the english and a Canadian trying to talk football....nah!!! 5-0!!! yeh good one son.
Scotland will win both legs as the english are soft.
DirkDiggler 05-11-1999, 05:03:AM Stand up if you hate England.
Fat Bhoy Tim 05-11-1999, 06:10:AM Scholes isn't playing
And others are out out.
English players may be good. But they don't play as a team.
Scotland has the same problem.
But rip scotland to shreds.
2 years back...scotland were at their worst.England were doing well. And england won 2-0 ....considering the current circumstances...5-0....i'm pissing myself laughing....piss off you english git

PolishPower 05-11-1999, 07:16:AM 5-0 is just not gonna happen, and I bet Scotland is hoping Shearer plays couse if he does they know thats one player they don't have to worry too much about, seriously...
remember this vs Bulgaria 0-0 and 1-1
vs. Sweden 1-2 and 0-0
vs Poland 3-1 and 0-0
Where do you get the idea England could ever hope putting 5 past Scotland?
Fat Bhoy Tim 05-11-1999, 07:21:AM If you all hate The English clap your hands
If you all hate The English clap your hands
If you all hate English
If you all hate English
If you all hate English clap your hands
The english don't play well as a team.
But remember these names ;
Burchill
McSwegan

GOONERBHOY 05-11-1999, 08:30:AM What the F**K does a yank ken about it F**K off. Ya F**Kin` English gits, ya think your so much better and like mr BEAM said what is an Irishman daen goin for england.
Were gonna take it tae `em hard and send them homeward tae think again.
I am not English, nor Scottish, I live in Holland, so I think I am neutral.
I every day read BBC's teletext(CEEFAX).
There people can put letters at "dear Ceefax"
What amazes me everytime is the unfundamended optimism of the English when they write about their chances in their international matches.
They really think they are the best of the world. WHY? Because Man Utd won the Champions League? NO, they allready said those things before Man Utd won it.
In fact England did really bad in their group, compared with their opposition. When they play as bad as in their group, they lose against Scotland. In fact, England has to thank Sweden to have a chance anyway.
So, a little bit modesty would be the right attitude for the English.....

LFC Fowler Owen England 06-11-1999, 04:14:AM Its hard when it comes to matches between
England and Scotland because they both give 100% and battle each other to the finish.
Its hard for me personly because my mum is Scottish and half of my family is too so always when it comes to matches between the two half my family's holding white flags and the other half the blue ones. I hold the white flag of course but I dont think there's going to be any 5-0 score line even on aggregate it wont be that big but in the end I think England will make it to Euro 2000
............. COME ON ENGLAND ...............

LFC Fowler Owen England 06-11-1999, 05:15:AM I disagree with you Shez mabe England did play bad in the group matches but it's a differant story when it comes to big tournament's like Euro 2000. I think England have a big chance of winning it and even if they dont they will be close to it. GLORY FOR ENGLAND http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

PolishPower 06-11-1999, 06:44:AM Of the teams that make the finals i think everyone has a decent shot to win it, except if Slovenia gets in, they would have no chance...
