Personally I was very disappointed with FIFA 2000. I think the gameplay isn't as good as FIFA 99. The opponents are too easy on world class level. I was extremely disappointed with the overall presentation of the game. There is no reason why EA couldn't have kept the opening match sequences and given us a choice of stadiums. I also thought the player graphics were a bit of insult considering the opulence of Fifa 99's players. I have a Pentium 3 with a TNT2 graphics card so I'm not running a crappy system here but as far as I am concerned the players looked half finished with the given impression that the artists half-heartedly designed the general look of them. I really feel that I bought a demo/beta version of the game before all the frills were added.
However, I liked the crowd animations, althougth it wouldn't have killed EA to put the crowd in the colours of the two teams playing. The goalkeepers have also improved and I think they are more "realisitic".

One other thing really pisses me off though. Considering there are a lot of nationalities who reside in the US, why the hell can't I buy the UK version of FIFA 2000 from EA instead of having to order it from a website based in England and then send back MLS to EA for a full refund. No offence intended her to any Americans but I can't stand those American commentators and a footie game just isn't the same without Motty.

EXACTLY!!! God, I couldn't agree more (except I disagree with you about the crowds, I don't like them). EVERYBODY does "focus groups" these days, you would've thought that EA Sports would've polled players for their input (and EA had better not try to sell us on the idea that gamers didn't care about stadia). As if the US gaming public was just dying to have Phil & Julie announce the games, and especially include those oh-so-important MSL teams.
